1、 Whats for your breakfast? 黄小艳 本小节选自川教版四年级上册新路径英语四川教育出版社,这节课的重点是教会学生使用英语去表达喜欢的食物和如何在日常生活中表达一日三餐。 在课堂教学中,教师和学生互动非常重要,有趣的游戏能给学生添加趣味性,因此在课堂中教师应该以学生为主体,体现以学生为中心,面对学生的差异性因材施教。 Teaching aims:Students can understand the words oftamato, potato,candy and noodles and know how to use the sentence of Whats for

2、your? Knowledge aim: Students can master the sentences of Whats for your breakfast? and know how to answer. Ability aim:Students can understand the words and can speak the sentences using the prounanciation properly. Emotional aim: Students can foster the interest and desire of learning English, and

3、 they will be fond of taking part in kinds of class activities.Teaching Key & Difficult Points The key point of this lesson is to get students to know how to pronounce the words correctly and understand the meaning of the sentences. The difficult point is to improve students speaking and listening a

4、bility.Teaching procedures:Step 1: Warming-up Review a chant with students: “Red is the color for the tomato; yellow is the color for the banana; blue is the color for the sky and sea; green is the color for the leaves on the tree.”Step 2: Presentation Students will listen to the tape and answer the

5、 question “Do you know whats meal?” Teacher will play the tape again and students will imitate it. T:Boys and girls, look at PPT, Who are them ? Ss:Miss Yang, Tingting, Lele ,Peter and Rose. T:Do you know what are them talking about? Ss:Meal and food. T:Its meal.(Then teacher will write the words wi

6、th “meal” on the blackboard.) T:Meal includes breakfast,lunch and dinner.Next,After pronouncing, the students will konw the meaning of meal. 12、your dinner?(Teacher asks students to answer.) 1. Students read the sentences in different ways. For example: read it one by one; loudly. 2. Play a game. Remove a word from the former words, and ask students: “Please guess what food is missing?”Step 4: Production Students will read the example sente

13、nces in the textbook, and then try to use the rest of words to make complete sentences freely. Teachers would invite some of them to role_play the sentences with others.Step 5: Summary & Homework Students will act as an assistant teacher to conclude what they have learned this class and then the teacher will make a summar
