5、reading the given graph. After they are familiar with the topic, they can discuss and compare the habits of themselves with their partners, and make a graph to show their partner's study habits by interviewing each other.Step Pre-readingGet the students to answer the six questions on Page 31 to

20、nces.1. There are certain techniques you can learn and then it is up to you to practice, practice and practice. In this sentence, "you can learn" modifies "certain techniques". "It's up to you to practice, practice and practice "here means " it's your duty
21、to practice and practice". be up to sb.: (1) be required as a duty or obligation to sb. e.g. It's up to you to help those in need. It's not up to you to tell me how to do my job. (2) be left to sb. to decide e.g. An Indian or a Chinese meal? It's up to you. 2. One way to test whethe
22、r a text is at the right level is to read the first page. The main structure is " One way is to read the first page". "To test whether a text is at the right level" is used to modify "one way". We can also say one way of testing whether a text is . 3. For other tasks su
23、ch as finding certain facts you can read much faster, slowing down to read more carefully only when you see a sentence that might be relevant to your task. The sentence means: If we are reading to find certain facts, we can read much faster. If we read a sentence that is relevant to the facts, we re
