本课程在大学英语课程中属于较高要求,在英语一到四级的基础上,通过学习本课程,在英语语言知识方面继续增加词汇量,巩固语法;在语言技能和交际策略上,提高听力、阅读理解水平,口语、书面表达能力和翻译能力。

competency.大纲内容:

一、前言【课程目的】

本课程性质是公共英语课,在大学英语课程中属较高要求,通过学习掌握大学英语五级的课程内容,使已达到大学英语1-4级一般要求的学生,逐步达到较高要求。【教学要求】

本课程总学时为50学时,其中精读32学时,听力18学时。

1.听力理解能力:能基本听懂英语国家人士的谈话和讲座,语速为每分钟150个词左右,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。

2.阅读理解能力:能基本读懂英语国家大众性报刊杂志的一般性题材文章,阅读速度达到每分钟70个词;在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时,阅读速度达到每分钟120个词;

3.书面表达能力:能就一般性的主题基本表达个人观点;能在半小时内写出

160个词的短文,内容完整,条理清楚,文理通顺。

4.翻译能力:能借助词典翻译一般英语国家报刊上题材熟悉的文章,英汉译速为每小时

350个英语单词,汉英译速为每小时300个汉字,译文基本通顺,达意,无重大理解和语言错误。
