Whatisaconfinedspace?什么是密闭空间？Aconfinedspaceisanyspacethat:密闭空间指：•Islargeenoughthatanemployeecanfitinsideandperformwork(includingspacesfilledwithmaterialthatcanberemoved(e.g.wool,perlite,exchangerbundles,catalyst))•足够大得适合员工在里面安装和作业的空间（包括充满可移离材料（如毛料、珠光体、交换剂包和催化剂）的空间）•Haslimited,restrictedornomeansofentryorexit:•进入或离开受限制或无法进出的空间：•Accesscanbecreated(e.g.manholes,accesspanels,accessdoors,portholes)•进入口可制造的空间（如检修孔、检查口、检修门和观察孔）•Ladders,stairs,orothermeansareneededtoenterorexit•进出需要梯子、楼梯或以其它方法进出的空间•Isnotdesignedforcontinuousemployeeoccupancy•不是为员工持续作业而设计的空间Whatisaconfinedspace?什么是密闭空间？Inadditiontotheabovecriteria,aconfinedspacealsohasthepotentialforatleastoneofthefollowing:除上述规定外，密闭空间还至少具有以下的其中一个特性：•Ahazardousatmosphere•危险空气•Engulfment•被火吞噬•Entrapment•陷入•Anyotherserioushazard,suchas:•其它重大危险如：•Afallfromanelevation•高空跌落•Hazardousenergysourcessuchasfans,agitators,orblendersthatarepoweredbyelectric,hydraulic,ormechanicalmeans•危险源如由电力、液压或机械方法驱动的风机，搅拌器或拌和机•Hazardsthatcanbeintroducedbyworkperformed,suchashotworkorworkwithepoxies,solvents,orpaints•由所执行作业引起的危险，如高温作业、或使用环氧树脂、溶剂或油漆的作业PersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPE)
