bemadeof为“be+及物动词的过去分词+of”的被动语态结构,意为“由……

制造;由…制作”。►

Thebridgeismadeofstone.

这座桥是用石头砌的。辨析:bemadeof“由……制成”,后接原材料,强调物理变化,能看出原材料bemadefrom“由……制成”,后接原材料,强调化学变化,不能看出原材料bemadeinto“被制成……”,后接成品,强调被制成什么成品bemadeby“被……制造”,后接制作人,强调制作人是谁bemadein“在……制造”,后接地点或场所,强调物品的产地图示不同的“制造”助记:►Thekiteismadeofpaper.

这个风筝是用纸做的。►

grassandleaves草和叶

leaf意为“叶;叶子”,是可数名词,其复数形式leaves.►Inautumntheleavesfalldownfromthetrees.

秋天,叶子从树上落下来。助记:-f(e)结尾变-ves的名词:树叶(leaf)一半(half)自己黄’妻子(wife)拿刀(knife)去收粮,架(shelf)后蹿出一只狼(wolf),就像强盗(thief)逃命(life)忙。4.WhereisteaproducedinChina?

中国哪里产茶?

produce(tomakethingstobesold,especiallyinlargequantities)作动词,意为“生产;制造;出产”。►Whatdoesthefactoryproduce?

这家工厂生产什么产品?produce可以表示通过制造而获得产品,也可以表示生产粮食、蔬菜等,即通过种植而获得产品make作“制造”讲时,一般可以和produce相互换用。但不能表示通过种植而获得产品辨析:►Theyproducewheatandrice.

他们生产小麦和稻米。►Thefactorymakes/producescars.

这个工厂制造小汽车。5.AnxiandHangzhouarewidelyknownfor

theirtea.

安溪和杭州都因为茶而广为人知。

beknownfor意为“以......闻名;为人知晓”,同义短语是befamousfor。►Heisknown/famousforhislearning.

他以学问渊博著名。表达程度“以……而非常著名”时,分别用:

bewellknownfor和beveryfamousfor.注意:辨析:beknownfor以......闻名”,表示出名的原因beknownas“作为......闻名”,表示出名的形式beknownto“为……所知晓”,表示出名的范围►HongKongisknownforitsshoppingstreets.

香港因它的购物街出名。►HongKongisknownasashoppingcity.

香港作为一个购物城市出名。►HongKongisknowntopeopleallovertheworld.

香港为全世界的人所知晓。6.Whentheleavesareready,theyarepickedbyhandandthenaresentforprocessing.

当叶子成熟以后,它们就被手工采摘,然后被送去加工。(l)arepickedbyhand意为“被手工采摘”,是

被动语态结构:“be+及物动词的过去分词+by+其他”,介词by意为“被……”。►Weareallmovedbyhiswords.

我们都被他的一番话感动了。(2)process(totreatrawmaterial,food,etc.inordertochangeit)动词,意为“加工;处理”。►Thefishareprocessedbyfreezing.

这种鱼经过了冷冻处理。

process还可作名词,意为“过程”。►Thetrainingofastronautsisalongprocess

训练宇航员是个长期的过程。7.TheteaispackedandsenttomanydifferentcountriesandplacesaroundChina.

茶被包装起来,然后被运送到中国周边的很多不同的国家和地区。

pack作及物动词,意为“包装;装箱”。►Weusuallypackshirtsinpaperbags.

我们通常用纸袋包装衬衣。
