Unit 7 How much are these socks? Section A(1a - 1 c)一、教学目标(一)语言知识目标1.词汇: 能掌握新单词 much, sock, T-shirt, shorts, sweater, trousers, shoe, skirt,much的音、形、义 。2.句型: 掌握关于谈论价格的新句型: How much is /are? Its /Theyre 3.语法:(1)能掌握英语和中文关于衣物名词表达上的区别,尤其是英语中常以复数形式出现的有关衣物名词,如: socks, shorts, trousers, shoes。 (2)能够使用How much引导的特殊疑问句询问价格。4.语音:掌握元音字母a,o,ir,ou,ea在新单词中的发音;掌握名词复数的发音。(二)语言能力目标1.能够就衣物的价格进行问答。(三)学习策略目标 1.通过观察、比较发现并掌握英语和中文关于衣物名词表达上的区别,尤其是英语中常以复数形式出现的有关衣物名词,如: socks, shorts, trousers, shoes。 2.通过听、模仿和交际策略,掌握并使用How much引导的特殊疑问句询问价格和做出正确回答。(四)情感态度目标 本课时通过购物的对话练习让学生能在英语学习情景中体验用英语进行交流的成功与喜悦,提高学生学习英语的兴趣和自信心,培养学生善于与他人合作的精神。同时使学生养成节约用钱的生活习惯。(五)文化意识 了解货币单位“人民币”和“美元”。二、教学的重点和难点1. 教学重点:让学生掌握并能正确的运用有关购物的衣物名词和对于价格的问答:How much is/are.?It is/They are.dollars.2.教学难点:(1) 能掌握英语和中文关于衣物名词表达上单复数的区别和名词单复数的主谓一致。 (2)名词复数的发音难上口,学生不易读清楚。三、教学法和辅助1.教法:采用情景教学法、直观教学法、模仿教学法、多媒体辅助教学法、2.学法:自主合作学习法、小组交际教学法。3.教学辅助:1.多媒体 2.实物四、教学过程Part 1 Lead-in (3 minutes) 1. Show some pictures about clothes stores and shopping 2. Review the numbers 1-9 by reading a phone number.Part 2 Presentation (15 minutes) (Teach new words and the structure)1. Present all kinds of clothes and teach the new clothing words one by one.(First, I will show 3 words that they learned. Next, I will show 3 new words to teach. Then, I will show 4 words in the plural. After that ,make them pay attention to words in the plural.)2. Get them to have a brain storm.(I will divide them into some groups. Ask the Ss to say the words about the clothes quickly, then give them some scores.)3. Get the students finish 1a by themselves, and then check the answers.4. Get the students to watch the picture in 1a carefully, and help them to find out the price tags. And I will show some picture to introduce how to use the structure-How much is /are.?Its/They re.dollars/yuan.Part 3 Listening ( 7minutes) (Consolidate new words and the structure )1. Get the students to listen and deal with 1b.(I will tell them to listen to the key words about the clothing.) 2. Get them to listen again and imitate the conversation.(I will tell them to pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation ) Part 4 Practice and production (13minutes) (Master and use new words and the structure )1. Give them some time to show the conversation in group.(Explain :In each group, 2 Ss show the conversation to the other partners, the others should listen carefully and give them some scores. At the same time ,there are 9 pairs showing .We just need 3 times to get the whole Ss to show the conversation.)2. Get them some time to make their own conversations with the pictures that I offer, or their own real objects in group. (After that ,I will ask some groups to show their conversations on the platform, and the other students should listen to them and answer some questions according to their show.)3. Get them to have a game about the prices.Step 4 Homework (2minutes)1.Get the Ss to review and memorize the new words we have learned this class. 2. Get them to do a survey and make 3 conversations with the structure: How much is/are? Its/Theyre. 3. Get them to draw a kind of clothes, color it with your favorite color, and show it in class tomorrow.7、 板书设计 Unit 7 How much are these socks
