Lesson 5 Wheres the Gift Shop ?教材分析:本课主要是让学生了解用英语问路及怎样正确表达方向,我把该课定义成综合实践运用课型,通过游戏和阶段性的任务,使学生理解和掌握语言知识,并且能够做到以教材为本,优化教材,运用生动的语言材料和多样的教学形式提高学生的学习兴趣,提高教学效果。知识技能:1. go straight, turn left, turn right, on ones left/right, block. 2. Wheres? “Go straight and turn right, you can find it on yourleft. ”3、能够听懂、会说问路的指令。4、掌握重点句型和单词过程方法:课堂采用情景教学、课件演示、任务布置等多种教学方式,激发学生实践的热情,提高英语的综合运用能力。情感目标:1、愿意参与课堂活动、在活动中愿意运用英语。 2、培养合作精神教学重点:重点单词和句型教学难点:掌握并运用指路问路的句型 教具:多媒体课件教学步骤:I: Warm-up and greetingsT: Good morning,everyone ! Im very glad to be here and have so many special and cute students like you , Its my pleasure , thank you . Now, Lets begin our lesson.II: Presentation 课前导入:T: As we know Sandy is in Wonderland and Wonderland is a wonderful city. If youre in Wonderland , What are you going to do ?新授: T: OK, lets listen to the story. (1-4 幅图) And find out Whats Sandy going to do?T: Ok, Sandys going to the gift shop, and here is a gift shop .(图片) T:Does Sandy know the way to the gift shop , Can you gusee ?(图片) T: So she has to ask the way , now lets listen what does Sandy ask? (听第一幅图录音)T: But now the man doesnt hear Sandy clearly So he said.? T: Yes , it means “Pardon” T: Ok, now lets look and listen “How does Sandy ask the second time” (分段播放第二幅图录音) T: How does Sandy ask the way ? Where is the gift shop ? (板书) T: Ok , How does the man show the way , Lets listen.T: and then .T: What is block? Lets look at the picture . We can see many different kinds of buildings and street , This part we call it “block”.(课件block演示)T: Ok , On this may we can see Sandys route clearly. First , go straight .(课件演示,并板书) One block , two blocks.Turn rightYou can find it on your left.T: Ok , now lets practice.(出示地图课件) Sandy is here , Who can show her the way to the restaurant ?T: And this one , who can do it?T: Good , youre so clever. Now please practice these sentences with your partner on this map , Ok ? T: Ok , now listen to the tape and answer “what is that”(播放第三幅录音回答问题)T: Ok, Whats that?T: Good , its a white building.(课件图片) follow me “building”T: Look , what is it ?(出示著名建筑物图片)T:Ok , I think these buildings are very famous and great , right?T: Ok , This is the last picture Lets listen to the tape to make sure “where is the gift shop”(播放最后一段录音确定礼品店位置)T:Ok Where is the gift shop ?T: and what does Sandy say at last ? Now we know Sandy is a polite girt , Yes?四、新知强化1.T: Now listen to the tape and read after it.2.T: Great, you can practice in pairs.3.T: Act it(I think not all of you can recite the text. It doesnt matter. You can do it after class.)五、新知输出T: Boys and girls, here is a background of our dialogue. I will read it for you. Take out you paper, circle the places and draw a line on the map, you can talk about it and finish it. T: No matter where have you done. Stop here.
