1.含有this,these,that,those等指示代词的一般疑问句或者特殊疑问句中,在答句里指示代词是指人时,要使用he,she,they来代替,当指物时用it和they来代替,如:—IsthatyourfriendMary?那是你的朋友玛丽吗?—Yes,sheis.是的,她是。—Aretheseyourcousins?这些是你的堂兄妹吗?—Yes,theyare.是的,他们是。2.thisis,theseare和thoseare不能缩写,而thatis可以缩写成that’s。如:Thisisabus.That’sacar.这是一辆公交车。那是一辆汽车。(二)所属关系的表达在英语里,表示所属关系,也就是汉语里的

“……的”,有以下几种情况:1.有生命的事物的所属关系(1)单数名词+’s。如:myfather’sroom我爸爸的房间XiaoWang’sdesk小王的课桌Mike’smother迈克的妈妈(2)不以s结尾的复数名词+’s。如:thechildren’stoys孩子们的玩具men’sclothes男装Women’sDay妇女节(3)以s结尾的人名,或者以s结尾的复数名词,在s后面加“’”。如:Jones’book琼斯的书theteachers’office教师办公室Nurses’Day护士节2.无生命的事物的所属关系(1)在英语中,通常使用由of加名词构成无生命的事物的所属关系。如:thedoorofthehouse房子的大门thenameofthesong歌名themanagerofthetheatre剧院经理(2)表示时间等的所有格时,也使用’s的形式。如:yesterday’snewspaper昨天的报纸tomorrow’snews明天的新闻3.形容词性物主代词我的
