文件修订变更履历表版次修订内容摘要或(DOCNO)修订页次修订日期A初版发行2011.4.5核准审核制定发行章执行部门(者,工序):锌合金质量人员监督部门(者,工序):质量科长/经理/公司各级领导实施日期:2011年4月5日1、目的为提升锌合金质量,品质人员责任细化分工明确,作为考核质量人员的主要依据特此制定此工作手册;2、适用范围应用锌合金来料检验、首件、巡检、抽检、入库,处理全过程的质量控制,确认发行所有质量人严格执行相关事宜。3、规范内容:3.1人员配置;五金工程师1人、锌合金组长1人、白班/夜班领班各1人.QC8人(含两班)、具体分工:压铸2人(领班负责)/冲压2人/抛光1人/批锋1人//电镀2人/攻牙2人/镭雕2人;QC人员的配置随各工序机台、线别和产量的增加而增加,负责各工序的试样/来料检验/首件/巡检/测量/抽检入库等。3.2品质人员职责及要求:五金工程师:1.负责锌合金、冲压所有工序的检验指导书制定及检验手法培训指导;2.锌合金、冲压质量控制系统的维护和改进;质量异常的分析和主导改进措施落实,3.客户投诉的回复及整改措施的跟踪确认;4.就质量异常及改进事项跨部门的沟通协调解决;并参与产品外观判定。5.参与新产品的开发导入工作,就客户要求的质量要求的沟通和传达,锌合金组长:1.负责锌合金QC人员的分配和日常管理及部门之间的联络;2.日报、周报、月报制作,质量异常及客户投诉汇总,3.产品外观的判定,在无法判定的情况下及时汇报工程师或科长;4.主导制程异常的检讨必要时请质量科长或工程师协助,《检验指导书》的制定及检验手法的培训,要有强烈的质量意识和沟通协调能力,对质量的判定果断,客户投诉的确认和提出处理建议;锌合金班长:1.为各班人员的日常管理及工作分配及上组长人员交待的任务实施,2.新进人员的培训及考核。3.审核检验人员日常报表及汇总至品质组长。4.对其岗位的资料及限度样品的整放及其知会检验人员。对质量异常单的追踪及汇总,及白班负责人对其夜班未追踪完成的异常进行处理或上报。5.每天检查监督各工序的“6S”工作。6.负责抽查已确认产线不良品,及单据签字工作。QC检验人员:1.严格按照《各工序检验规范》和工程样品对各工序来料情况,结合《c=0抽样计划表》进行抽检确认。如发现来料异常及时开具《品质异常联络单》及时通知品质班组长并反馈生产带班组长(时间为5分钟之内)。2.严格按照《各工序检验规范》、《锌合金作业指导书》及工程样品对各工序产品进行首件确认检验,做好《首件检记录表》及《尺寸测量报表》,如发现异常及时开具《品质异常联络单》及时通知品质班组长并反馈生产带班组长(时间为5分钟之内)。3.按照《锌合金作业指导书》和《各工序检验规范》巡机巡线。并登记各工序《巡检记录表》及《尺寸测量报表》;如产线出现制程异常情况并开具《品质异常联络单》,及时通知品质班组长并反馈给生产带班组长(时间为5分钟之内)。4.严格按照《各工序检验规范》和工程样品,结合《c=0抽样计划表》对各工序产品进行抽检检验入库;登记《品质日报》及签字、盖章保证产品入库。5.严格按照合格首件及工程样板,要求生产对批退产品进行返工,并登记《品质日报表》进行全过程监督。6.负责产线各工序全检、抽检后来料不良、制程不良确认、入库工作。6.各工序品质人员每天下班前将所有报表及品质异常单(必须附有不良样板)整理确认,交与带班班长。7.各工序QC每天整理各工序不良样品,汇总至带班班长,制定为各工序不良样板以便生产改善。8.各工序QC负责各工序检验台及检验区域的“6S”工作。3.3工作过程;3.31、每天工作前准备;各工序QC根据对当日PMC及生产排单,准备当天所生产的产品的“工程样品”及相关记录表单、文件(《C=0抽样计划表》、《五金件检验规范》、《锌合金各工序检验规范》、《锌合金作业指导书》、《工程BOM表》、《锌合金首件记录表》、《锌合金巡检记录表》、《品质日报表》、《尺寸测量报告》《异常连络单》).3.2.2、各工序品管人员每天交班前半小时,必须将把本班的异常状况登记在专用交接本上,附有品质异常联络单(附不良样板)!上班要提前15分钟,做好交接班工作。如有产品未清线,要将产品型号、数量、质量状况标示清楚,良品、不良品、待加工产品一定要标示明晰以免给后续加工带来麻烦。。加工部位、需加工问题必须开具《品质异常联络单》,以便后续班别生产注意改善及追踪。3.3.3各工序来料检验:现场QC在白晚班交接完后,对生产各工序已全检(压铸、冲压、批锋、抛光、电镀、攻牙、镭雕)来料必须抽检工作,根据《各工序检验标准》、《五金件检验标准》核对相应产品的工程样板,以确认各工序来料状况。重点注意内容:压铸:A.压铸机料温、模温生产中料温控制在420℃——430℃,模温控制在120℃——150℃之间;且必须查看压铸机台电子显示记录。是否在所述范围之内。B.压铸件的结构(螺丝柱、扣位、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔是否存在多料、少料、堵孔、变形、顶高现象;如有判定NG可加工不影响装配外观的除外)查看外观是否有砂眼针孔、冷水纹等现象.C.压铸件的重点尺寸,用卡尺及二次元测量外观长宽度、按键框长宽度、LCD框长宽度、镜片框长宽度;使用高度规、带刻度镶针等测量螺丝柱高度、深度、直径,确保与工程图标注尺寸一致(含+抛光余量/-电镀余量)。D.将选好及测量好的压铸件(已冲水口)送给试抛员进行试抛工作1..查看外观是否有抛不掉的水纹及砂眼;如有判定NG,另砂眼A面D≤0.1mm;N≤2DS≥40;B面≤0.15mm,N≤3DS≥20在此范围内的判定为OK;水纹为测物表面与眼睛距离: 300~350mm看不到判定OK,看得到判定NG.2..检测试抛产品的外观尺寸和外观光泽度,外观抛光后尺寸在公差范围内,原则上不能超出上限单边减0.02-0.04MM;不能低于下公差单边0.02-0.04mm.除符合3.4.3,实配后总体出货不良比率不能超出正常出货的10%;超出判定为NG;外观光泽度原则上为测物表面与眼睛距离: 300~350mm看不到判定OK,看得到判定NG.3.试抛产品合格后进行壳体实配,看是否存在顺差与逆差现象,是否存在段差。如有缝隙:必须均匀且缝隙≤0.25mm,顺差≤0.15mm,逆差≤0.20mm;(因电镀后单边增加0.02-0.04mm)。4.试攻牙,在送检10pcs中随意攻牙2pcs进行牙口测试,螺丝柱压铸标准直径1.20mm-1.25mm,螺丝柱深度3.0mm-3.5mm,实际攻牙丝锥直径1.40mm;,深度3.0mm-3.5mm,根据各型号BOM表确立实际深度。并螺纹直径未超出1.40mm,螺丝柱深度在3.0mm-3.5mm之间,螺纹规检测未滑牙,手工螺丝刀打螺丝深度符合标准底壳面壳之间螺纹经拉力测试为分离,判定OK,.滑牙或深度不足影响装配视为NG.5.如发现结构,外观与工程样板及尺寸不符,抽检比例(3%)超标准请生产全检,并及时开具品质异常单,并在5分钟内通知品质带班班/组长及生产科长和工程人员现场处理。冲压:1.品检先观察按键框及LCD框内水口及残留批锋是否干净,有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂。如有立刻查找上道工序所有操作程序,并告知带班班/组长,开具品质异常联络单,停线改进,全部产品生产全检,不良品隔离待修,待处理。3.试抛光、试攻牙、实配结合压铸C\要求。批锋:1.压铸冲压件按键框、LCD内外框、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱批锋全部属于重点控制部位,不能残留批锋、不能变形、不能影响装配。2.品检先观察按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。以确认来料合格性,3.试抛光、试攻牙、实配结合压铸C\D要求。抛光:1.品检先观察已抛光产品按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。2.抛光产品是否抛缺,段差。存在砂眼、水纹等现象,以确认来料合格性,3.试攻牙、实配结合压铸C\D要求。电镀:1.查看来料电镀件的结构(螺丝柱、扣位、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔是否存在抛光蜡残留、堵孔、变形现象;如有判定NG可加工不影响装配外观的除外).2.查看电镀件外观是否有批锋、翘曲/变形、污渍、抛光塌边、硬划痕、细划痕、气泡,发白(铬烧焦)、高光不良、冲裁塌角、光泽度、漏镀、镀层脱落、锈斑、点缺陷(麻点颗粒异色点)、渣屑、毛边、油污、脏污、氧化、生锈、水渍、水纹、色差(发黄)、凹坑、碰划伤、磨花等现象。如有请按五金件来料规范中要求检验确认。3.品检先观察电镀产品按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。4.电镀产品是否抛缺,段差,以确认来料合格性.5..试攻牙、实配结合压铸C\D要求攻牙:1.查看来料电镀件的结构(螺丝柱、扣位、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔是否存在抛光蜡残留、堵孔、变形现象;如有判定NG可加工不影响装配外观的除外).2.查看电镀件外观是否有批锋、翘曲/变形、污渍、抛光塌边、硬划痕、细划痕、气泡,发白(铬烧焦)、高光不良、冲裁塌角、光泽度、漏镀、镀层脱落、锈斑、点缺陷(麻点颗粒异色点)、渣屑、毛边、油污、脏污、氧化、生锈、水渍、水纹、色差(发黄)、凹坑、碰划伤、磨花等现象。如有请按五金件来料规范中要求检验确认。3.品检先观察电镀产品按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。4.电镀产品是否抛缺,段差。,5.实配结合压铸C\D要求镭雕:1.查看来料电镀件的结构(螺丝柱、扣位、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔是否存在抛光蜡残留、堵孔、变形现象;如有判定NG可加工不影响装配外观的除外).2.查看电镀件外观是否有批锋、翘曲/变形、污渍、抛光塌边、硬划痕、细划痕、气泡,发白(铬烧焦)、高光不良、冲裁塌角、光泽度、漏镀、镀层脱落、锈斑、点缺陷(麻点颗粒异色点)、渣屑、毛边、油污、脏污、氧化、生锈、水渍、水纹、色差(发黄)、凹坑、碰划伤、磨花等现象。如有请按五金件来料规范中要求检验确认。3.品检先观察电镀产品按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。2.电镀产品是否抛缺,段差。,3.再看攻牙产品所有螺丝柱是否全部攻牙,是否有漏攻、浅攻牙、堵孔、划伤碰伤现象,再用1.40mm螺丝塞规测试牙口是否存在滑牙和浅攻牙现象,再用1.4*3.0或1。4*3.5螺丝装配测试。3.3.4.首件的确认:(各工序结合以上来料检验具体操作及锌合金各工序作业指导书)1:压铸(电镀)产品符合图纸要求;各重点控制项目在公差范围之内,并且装配段差符合标准。2:试抛产品各个项指标达到下工序加工要求,试抛品各项指标达到试抛样板(限度样板)。3:试攻牙成品牙口直径1.4mm,深度3.0mm-3.5mm,螺纹规检测未滑牙,手工螺丝刀打螺丝深度符合标准。4:每次各型号每生产200pcs首件送检10pcs,进行试抛1pcs,不良品≤1pcs可继续生产,超出停机分析原因。3.3.5制程巡检/出货抽检:(各工序结合以上来料检验具体操作及锌合金各工序作业指导书)压铸:每小时巡机台一次,并做好首件及巡检记录、尺寸测量报告、抽检报表,详细记录各型号产品实际状况。如发现结构,外观与工程样板及尺寸不符,抽检比例(3%)超标准请生产全检,并及时开具品质异常单,并在5分钟内通知品质带班班/组长及生产科长和工程人员现场处理。(具体按照锌合金压铸检验指导书操作。并结合来料检验)冲压:压铸件反面方向放入冲压后模内,观察是否平稳、完全与后模接触,按下下降键,待按键框多余批锋LCD框内水口冲下后,开启上升键,待到达设定位置取下压铸件,看是否批锋冲干净,自动吹风机是否将残留批锋吹干净,如没有及时用毛刷清理残留批锋。品检先观察按键框及LCD框内水口及残留批锋是否干净,有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂。如有立刻查找上道工序所有操作程序,并告知带班班/组长,开具品质异常联络单,停线改进,全部产品生产全检,不良品隔离待修,待处理。每送检200pcs不良品≤1pcs可继续生产.否则停线整改!批锋:品检先观察按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。以确认首件合格性,具体1.要求生产每人必须有姓名标示,然后将合格首件送还生产每位员工,以此作为合格标准,2.后续批锋自检及全检合格后,再送检品管、如有批锋残留,挫缺,严重划伤、严重碰伤,在经试抛后严重影响外观及装配判定为NG,退还给生产,3.根据全检送检姓名标示立刻查找操作员工、现场检验操作程序及批锋手法,并告知带班班/组长,开具品质异常联络单,单人停线改进,单人全部产品生产再次返工全检,严重不良品隔离待修,待处理。抽检每送检100pcs不良品≤3pcs可继续生产.否则停线整改!抛光:品检先观察已抛光产品按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。抛光产品是否抛缺,段差。存在砂眼、水纹等现象,以确认首件合格性,具体1.要求生产每人必须有姓名标示,然后将抛光合格首件送检品管,2.品管检验合格后将已抛光合格品生产每位员工,以此作为合格标准,3.后续产品抛光自检及全检合格后,再送检品管、如有批锋残留,挫缺,严重划伤、严重碰伤,抛缺、变形等,在经返抛后严重影响外观及装配判定为NG,退还给生产,4.根据全检送检姓名标示立刻查找抛光员工、现场检验操作程序及抛光手法,并告知带班班/组长,开具品质异常联络单,单人停线改进,单人全部产品生产再次返工返修全检,严重不良品隔离待修,待处理。5.出货抽检中每送检100pcs不良品≤3pcs可继续生产.否则停线整改!并对不良品进行挑选。电镀:品检先观察电镀产品按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。电镀产品是否抛缺,段差。,以确认首件合格性,具体1.要求生产每人/每台机必须有姓名标示,然后将电镀合格首件送检品管,2.品管检验合格后将已电镀合格品返还生产每位员工,以此作为合格标准,3.后续电镀品自检及全检合格后,再送检品管、如有批锋残留,挫缺,严重划伤、严重碰伤,抛缺、变形等,在经返工后,仍严重影响外观及装配判定为NG,退还给生产,4.根据全检送检姓名标示立刻查找电镀全检员工、现场检验操作程序及电镀标准及手法,并告知带班班/组长,开具品质异常联络单,单人停线改进,单人全部电镀产品再次返工、返修全检,严重不良品隔离待修,待处理。5.出货抽检中每送检100pcs不良品≤3pcs可继续生产.否则停线整改!并对不良品进行挑选。攻牙:品检先观察电镀产品按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。电镀产品是否抛缺,段差。,再看攻牙产品所有螺丝柱是否全部攻牙,是否有漏攻、浅攻牙、堵孔、划伤碰伤现象,再用1.40mm螺丝塞规测试牙口是否存在滑牙和浅攻牙现象,再用1.4*3.0或1。4*3.5螺丝装配测试。以确认首件合格性,具体1.要求生产每人/每台机攻牙必须有姓名标示,然后将电镀攻牙合格首件送检品管,2.品管检验合格后将已电镀合格品返还生产每位员工,以此作为合格标准,3.后续电镀攻牙品自检及全检合格后,再送检品管、如有批锋残留,挫缺,严重划伤、严重碰伤,抛缺、变形等堵孔、滑牙、浅攻牙退货返工,在经返工后,仍严重影响外观及装配判定为NG,退还给生产,4.根据全检送检姓名标示立刻查找电镀攻牙操作员工、现场检验操作程序及攻牙标准及手法,并告知带班班/组长,开具品质异常联络单,单人停线改进,单人全部电镀攻牙产品再次返工挑选、返修全检,严重不良品隔离待修,待处理。5.出货抽检中每送检200pcs不良品≤1pcs可继续生产.否则停线整改!并对不良品进行挑选。镭雕:品检先观察电镀产品按键框内外侧、LCD框内外侧、摄像头孔、听筒孔、送话器孔、扣位、螺丝柱、顶针位是否残留批锋、是否干净,有无挫缺、有无变形、AB面压伤、AB面冲伤、AB面冲裂、螺丝柱是否用砂纸磨底平滑,是否影响装配。2.电镀产品是否抛缺,段差。3.再看攻牙产品所有螺丝柱是否全部攻牙,是否有漏攻、浅攻牙、堵孔、划伤碰伤现象,再用1.40mm螺丝塞规测试牙口是否存在滑牙和浅攻牙现象,再用1.4*3.0或1。4*3.5螺丝装配测试。4.镭雕部位是否与样板一致,颜色、深度是否一致,用万用表测试导电部位是否导电以确认产品合格性,具体1.要求生产每人/每台机镭雕产品必须有姓名标示,然后将电镀镭雕合格首件送检品管,2.品管检验合格后将已电镀镭雕合格品返还生产每位员工,以此作为合格标准,3.后续电镀镭雕品自检及全检合格后,再送检品管、如有批锋残留,挫缺,严重划伤、严重碰伤,抛缺、变形等堵孔、滑牙、浅攻、镭雕不到位,雕偏、导电性差退货返工。4.在经返工后,仍严重影响外观及装配判定为NG,退还给生产,5.根据全检送检姓名标示立刻查找电镀镭雕操作员工、现场检验操作程序及镭雕标准及手法,并告知带班班/组长,开具品质异常联络单,单人停线改进,单人全部电镀攻牙产品再次返工挑选、返修全检,严重不良品隔离待修,待处理。3.3.4每天下班前整理好所有记录班组长给予确认;统计当天的批退率和不良明细制定质量日报;并对未结案异常进行记录或交接。3.3.5周报月报的制定:质量组长根据质量日报、客户投诉、供应商整改状况、异常单结案状况,制定周报和月报,每周一提交质量周报,每月5日之前提交质量月报,节假日特殊情况往后延迟;3.3.6锌合金QC人员直接负责人是锌合金品质组长,锌合金品质组长主要直接人员为是五金工程师或质量科长;在处理质量问题是先汇报直接负责人;3.3.7签样;锌合金各工序的放行签样,除工程样板和客户样板之外,只认质量工程师或科长及质量经理签样其它人员签样不给认可,特殊情况需科长或经理授权通知;限度样品和OQC共享;3.3.8代理人;科长的代理人为质量工程师或组长,五金工程师代理人组长,组长代理人班长,班代理人为检验人员,晚班由资深的检验人员全权代理班长工作;有权对产品的直接判决;3.3.9质量人员权限:质量在质量发生严重异常,影响使用功能或客户已经投诉无法接受的异常,制程不良率超过3%,有权要求生产停止生产,停线后20分钟内把不良状况(不良数量、不良率、工序、批号等)反映给质量工程师或科长、计划负责人、生产负责人、工程人员、必要是通知采购及供应商(以上内部由异常单进行会签联络);3.3.10质量人员的技能要求;检验人员:熟悉牢记检验规范及客户要求;具备独立的判定能力,字迹工整高中以上学历;有1年以上同行业经验,会开异常处理单及相关日报的填写,熟悉所有产品的工艺及特殊要求;检验组长/工程师:有3年以上同行业工作经验,熟悉所有产品工艺及工艺要求,熟悉整机装配特性,能够根据客户的要求制作过程控制指导书,有较强的沟通协调能力,具备一定质量策划能力,能够培训检验人员确保完成本部门质量指标;3.3.11质量目标:锌合金的出货合格率为98%(来料不良不计),客户投诉批量严重事故每月≤1次,轻微投诉每月小于3次;精品文档精心整理精品文档可编辑的精品文档WESTMECKLENBURGHIGHSCHOOLNewTeacherHandbookAsurvivalguideforyour1styearofteachingatWestMecklenburgHighSchoolTableofContentsTopic 9thGradeTECHNOLOGYSTAFFACCEPTABLEUSEPOLICYTheTechnologyMissionofCharlotteMecklenburgPublicSchoolSystemistoensureaccesstoappropriatetechnologyinoureducationalcommunitytosupportandenhancestudentlearning,staffinstruction,schoolcommunicationanddatamanagement.TheCharlotteMecklenburgPublicSchoolfulfillsitstechnologymissionbyofferinganinstitutionalnetworkbetweentheschoolsandInternetaccessforstaffandstudents.ThisisreferredtoastheCMSNetwork.Ourgoalinprovidingthisservicetostudentsistopromoteeducationalexcellencebyfacilitatingresourcesharing,innovationandcommunication.ItistheresponsibilityofallCharlotteMecklenburgSchoolemployeestoreadandsignthepolicyanditistheresponsibilitytotheCMSPrincipalstodenyInternetaccesstostaffmemberswhohavenotreadandsignedthepolicy.POLICIESStaffInternetAccessAllstaffwillhaveaccessthroughtheirclassroom,library/mediacenter,orcomputerlabtothefollowinginformationresources:ElectronicmailcommunicationwithpeopleallovertheworldLibraryCollectionsincludingLibraryofCongressPublicdomainsoftwareandgraphicsWorldWideWebNewsandinformationDiscussiongroupAllstaffwillhaveane-mailaccount.UnacceptableUsesTheuseoftheCMSNetworkisprovidedtofacilitateeducation.Inappropriateusewillresultincancellationofcomputer(internet)privileges.Usersshouldnotexpectprivacyinthecontentsofpersonalfilesonthedistrictsystem.RoutinemaintenanceandmonitoringoftheCMSNetworkmayleadtodiscoverythatastaffmemberhasviolatedthisPolicy,orthelaw.Alle-mailisconsideredpublicrecord.TheSuperintendentofSchools,AssistantSuperintendentofCurriculum,TelecommunicationsTechnologySpecialistordesigneeshallhavetherighttoaccesse-mail.Thefollowingunacceptableusesinclude(butarenotlimitedto):IllegalActivitiesa.Transmissionofcopyrightortradeinformation.b.Transmissionofobsceneorthreateningmaterial.c.StaffshallnotattempttogainunauthorizedaccesstotheCMSNetworkortoanyothercomputersystemthroughtheCMSNetworkorgobeyondauthorizedaccess.Thisincludesattemptingtologinthroughanotherperson'saccountoraccessanotherperson'sfiles.Theseactionsconstitutevandalismandareillegal,evenifonlyforthepurposeof"browsing."d.StaffshallnotusetheCMSNetworkforcommercialorpersonalpurposes,whichincludesoffering,providing,orpurchasingproductsorservicesthroughtheCMSNetwork.SystemSecuritya.Staffareresponsiblefortheirindividualfileaccountandshouldtakeallreasonableprecautiontopreventothersfromaccessingtheirfiles.Undernoconditionsshouldstaffprovidetheirpasswordtoanotherperson.b.Staffshallnotdownloadortransferfileswithoutthepropersoftwarelicense.c.StaffshallnotmakedeliberateattemptstodisrupttheCMScomputersystem,orotherdistrictcomputersystemsandnetworks,nordestroydatabyspreadingcomputervirusesorbyanyothermeans.Theseactionsareillegal.TEACHERE-MAILUSEPOLICY•E-mailwillbeusedasanintegralformofcommunicationwithintheCharlotteMecklenburgPublicSchoolnetwork.Teachersareencouragedtousethisformofcommunicationtofacilitatecommunicationwithparents.•Facultye-mailnameswillbefirstname.lastname@cms.k12.nc.us.(forexample:JaniceDoe):Janice.doe@cms.k12.nc.us•Inmanyschools,teachersareexpectedtochecktheire-mailatthebeginningandendofeachschooldaytokeepcurrentwithnews,meetinginformation,andadministrativeupdatesandpolicieswithinthebuilding.STUDENTINTERNETACCEPTABLEUSEPOLICYWestMecklenburgisfortunatetohaveinternetaccessintheclassroom,mediacenterandcomputerlabs.Inordertopromotetheexpectationofappropriateuseofthismediumforeducationalpurposes,allstudentsarerequiredtohaveasignedcopyoftheCharlotteMecklenburgSchoolsAcceptableUsePolicyonfile.CHARLOTTE-MECKLENBURGSCHOOLSBEGINNINGTEACHERSUPPORTPROGRAMApplicationCharlotte-MecklenburgSchoolsprovidesaBeginningTeacherSupportProgram(BTSP)forteachersintheirfirst-thirdyearsofpractice.Theinductionprogramprovidesthestructurethatmaximizesbeginningteacherlearninginthecontextofclassroomexperience.Newteacherslearnfromveteranteachers;schoolsincreasethepossibilityofretainingstrong,well-trainededucators;andmostimportant,studentachievementcanbeelevated.StandardsWestMecklenburg’sinductionprogramsshallmeetthefollowingrequirements:•Anorientationforbeginningteacherandallotherincomingteachersorientationprogramforbeginningteachersandallotherincomingteachers•Assignmentofasupportteamthatshallconsistof,butnotbelimitedto,theacademicfacilitatoramentoranadministratorqualifiedtoevaluateteachers,andaleadteacher.•Opportunitiestoparticipateinprofessionaldevelopmentandcommonplanning(i.e.:CriticalFriends,Math,Reading,etc.)Theintentoftheinductionprogramistoprovideteacherswithasystematicstructureofsupportthathelpsthembecomefamiliarwiththeirschoolanddistrictrefinetheirpracticeandbetterunderstandtheirprofessionalresponsibilities.Theprogramisanintegralpartofateacher’sfirstyearofteachingandisthebeginningofateacher’sprofessionaldevelopmentactivities.TheinductionprogramisafundamentalpartoftheWestMecklenburg’sProfessionalDevelopmentPlanaswellastheschoolImprovementPlan.MentoringMentoringprovidesthebeginningteacherwithaoneononerelationshipwithanexperiencedteacher.Thementoringrelationshipcanbeveryrewarding,bothprofessionallyandpersonally,forthebeginningteacherandthementor.Whilethebeginningteacheracquiressupportandapracticalunderstandingofteachingtroughthementoringrelationship,thementorteacherisabletoreflectuponandimprovehis/herownpracticebysharingexperiencesandexpertise.CoreMentoringActivitiesThementoringrelationshipisshapedbytheactivitiesthatamentorandbeginningteacherparticipateintogether.Aspartofthelicensureregulationsincludeclassroomobservationsandothermentoringactivities.TheseactivitiesshouldhelpthebeginningteacherimproveuponpracticeanddevelopanunderstandingoftheProfessionalStandardsforTeachers.Theactivitiesmayinclude:•Meetingfrequentlyduringtheschoolyeartoplancurriculumandlessons•Observingoneanother’sclassroom•Co-teachingthebeginningteacher’sclass•Analyzingandassessingthebeginningteacher’spracticeinrelationtoevaluationcriteriainordertohelpthebeginningteacherimprove.RolesandResponsibilitiesBeginningTeacher:•Playanactiveroleinthementoringrelationship.Abeginningteachercandothisbyofferingcriticalreflectionsonhis(her)ownpracticeandidentifyingareasinwhichassistanceisneeded.•Seekouthelp.Thebeginningteachermustunderstandthatheorshemustseekoutsupportteammembers,beforthrightincommunicatingclassroomissues,andremainopentofeedbackinordertodevelopasaprofessional.•Observeexperienceteachersatwork.Thebeginningteachershouldadheretoascheduleofobservationsofexperiencedteachers.Thebeginningteachercouldkeepalogtorecordandreflectonthediversityoftheirstyles.•Participateregularlyinprogramsorganizedforbeginningteachers.Theseincludepeersupportgroups,professionaldevelopmentseminarsandbeginningteacherworkshops.Mentor:•Ensureastrongstarttotheyear.Mentorscanhelpbeginningteacherslaunchintoaproductiveyearbymakingsuretheyknowwheretoobtainallneededmaterialsandarefamiliarwithroutinesandschedules.•Provideinstructionalsupport.Thisincludes,butisnotlimitedto:oRegularobservationofandconferencingwiththebeginningteacher;oSupportinteachingandlearningstandardsofthestatecurriculumframeworks;oRefiningvariousteachingstrategies;oAddressingissuessuchasclassroommanagementandcommunicatingeffectivelywithparents;oRecognizingandaddressingmultiplelearningstylesandindividualstudentneeds.•Provideprofessionalsupport.Beginningteachersneedtobeinformedofschoolpoliciesandprocedures,particularlyregardingstandardsandproceduresforteacherevaluation.PrincipalsandDirectorsaswellasMentorsshouldbearesourceforinformationonevaluationandprofessionalpractice.•Providepersonalsupport.Mentorscanhelprelievethestressonfirsttimeteachersbyintroducingthemtootherfacultymemberandhelpingthebeginningteachertoputproblemsinperspectivewithsupportandencouragement.•Maintainaconfidentialrelationshipwiththebeginningteacher.Itisimportantthatthebeginningteacherbeabletodiscussproblemsopenlywiththementor,sothattheymaybeaddressedinatimelyandinformedmanner.•Serveasaliaison.Thementorshouldhavetheknowledgeandskillstoreferthebeginningteachertoothersteachersandeducationalresources,sothatthebeginningteacherisexposedtoavarietyofperspectivesandinstructionalpractices.•Serveasaresource.Informthebeginningteacherofopportunitiesandsupportsprovidedbyvariousprofessionalassociations.•Attendmentortraining•AttenddistrictwidescheduledmentormeetingsthroughouttheyearPrincipal:Therolesandresponsibilitiesoftheprincipalmayvarybylevel.Theprincipalmaychoosetosharethefollowingresponsibilitieswiththeassistantprincipal,deansoracademicfacilitator.•Establishaschoolculturethatisbuiltoncollegialityandsupportsprofessionalcollaborationamongnewandveteranteachers.•Ensurereasonableworkingconditionsforthebeginningteacher,whichmightincludeschedulemodifications.Forexample,thebeginningteachercouldbeassignedamoderateteachingload,acourseloadwithrelativelyfewpreparations,fewextra-curricularduties,andaschedulethatiscompatiblewiththementor’s.ResourcesforBeginningTeachersandMentors•Thementorandthebeginningteachercanusethefollowingdocumentstostructuretheirwork:oStatecurriculumframeworksandlocallyalignedcurriculamaterialsoSupportmaterialsforstudentassessments,includingCharlotteMecklenburg’sComprehensiveAssessmentSystem)oSchoolImprovementPlanoDistrictProfessionalDevelopmentPlanGettingStarted
