似乎每一个假期,学校都回布置读书的任务。好像是我们这些学生除了寒暑假之外,就不会有时间看书了似的。当然,假期所读的书与平时读的完全不在同一档次,毕竟,谁有本事在读完一本科幻小说或是漫画之后能写出合乎要求的读后感?于是乎,我的同学们只好拿起平时只放在书架上冲样子的名着读了起来。

我却幸运得多了。多亏我的未雨绸缪,厚厚的一本《周国平散文》,让我利用每天中午的时间一点一点蚕食,到放假时只剩下几十页了。我只需趁热打铁,将之读完即可。

周国平这个名字,很多人都觉得陌生。倒是和他一字之差的周和平老师更有些知名度。周国平先生是一位典型的读书人,着书立说和翻译外国哲学着作似乎就是他工作的全部。他的书或是文章,无非两个方面:散文随笔和哲学论着。前者描绘了一个文人的精神家园,后者反映了他的学术生活。我读到的,自然是他文人的一面。

周国平的随笔散文,真正映了“随”和“散”这两个字。每篇文章都透着淡然,好像是从心中自然而然地流淌出来一般。他的文章更多地关注自己而不是家国大事,好像就一直停留在“修身、齐家、治国、平天下”的“修身”境界。这看似不够伟大,用套话说就是“缺少社会责任感”。不过如果以他所制定的修身圆满的标准来衡量,天下之大,那些正行治国之事的“伟人们”又有几个是做到了修身、甚至尝试过修身呢?官吏腐败问题是哪一个国家都不可避免要面临的问题。可如果我们恪守“修身齐家治国平天下”的方略,循序渐进的话,哪里还会有贪官污吏得势的道理?

每个人在社会上都有自己的任务和位置。如果不细心叩问自己的心灵,如何能发现社会早已为自己预留的位置?对于我们,人生的大半都是未知,都需要探索;可是如果在迈出探索的步伐之前,连自己的目的地都不清楚;或是在行进途中渐渐迷失了方向,那又有什么资格口称自己是在探索人生呢?前进的步伐一刻也不能停下,了望的目光更是一刻也不能松懈。周国平用他的散文教给我们把握出世入世的度:即不能不问世事,那是不可能且自私的;也不能沉浸于俗世,迷失了自我。

如果把攀登人生的高峰类比于登山,那么最佳的状态应该是:肉体在不懈的攀登,步步为营,深陷崇山的掩映之中,灵魂则跳出山外,以旁观者的清澈目光为前进指明方向,永远不迷失。这显然是神仙的境界,凡人想要达到无疑是奢谈。我们只有退而求其次,在每次出发之前先问问自己够不够坚定;定期停下来修整,总结过去并展望未来,看看自己的路线是否偏移。“认识你自己”,这是指导精神生活的圣经。

我希望自己能够秉持这圣经,不忘审视自己。学习的范畴,不只是我们现在体会到的那么浅薄,我希望自己有一天可以明白更多。
