①Idon'tsupposeanyonewillvolunteer,willthey?我认为不会有人当志愿者,是不是?②Mr.Blackdidn'tbelievewhatIsaidwasright,didhe?布莱克先生不相信我说的是对的,是吗?Inotherwords,therearethreetimesasmanygirlsasboys.换句话说,女生人数是男生人数的三倍。此句式为:倍数+asmany/much+n.+as...Weeattwiceasmuchfruitasbefore.我们吃的水果是以前的两倍。英语中倍数的表达方式,倍数+as+原级+as,倍数+比较级+than...,倍数+thesize(length,width,height,depth)of...,倍数+what从句①Thisroomisthreetimesasbigasthatone.=Thisroomistwicebiggerthanthatone.=Thisroomisthreetimesthesizeofthatone.这个房间是那个房间的三倍大。(比那个房间大两倍)②Thepriceofthishouseisthreetimeswhatitwastwoyearsago.这座房子的价格是两年前的三倍。③Theoutputofcarsthisyearistwicethatoflastyear.今年汽车的产量是去年的两倍。表示“两倍”时用twice或double,三倍或三倍以上则用“基数词+times”来表达。句式中倍数也可用分数、百分数、half等表示。,Thereare28%morevotesforMr.WangthanforMr.Li.,王先生的选票比李先生的多28%。
