(that)weaskoneortwoofthemtowriteabouttheirexpressions.表语从句观察下列句子,体会表语从句的用法。MyfeelingiTheunderlinedphrasesaboveare:(a)simplyawayofexpressingthoughts(b)awayofemphasisingthatsomethingisourbelief,opinionetc.(b)Theunderlinedphrasesabovea在复合句中用作表语的从句是表语从句,引导表语从句的关联词与引导主语从句的关联词大致一样,表语从句位于连系动词am,is,are,was,were,seem,look,taste,remain后。基本结构为:主语+系动词+从句。e.g.That’swhatweshoulddo.That’swhyIwanttoseeyou.表语从句在复合句中用作表语的从句是表语从句,引导表语从句的关联词与引导表语从句的词有:连词:that,whether连接代词:who,whom,whose,what,which,whoever,whatever,whichever,在从句中充当主语、宾语、定语或表语。连接副词:when,where,how,why,等。除此之外,还可由asif,asthough或because引导。that有时可以省略。引导表语从句的词有:连词:that,whether注意1.

在表语从句中,当reason做主语时,引导词只能用that,不能用because。

e.g.他迟到的原因是因为他没有赶上早班车。
