Warming up 1、Sing an English song-The more we get together. 2、Greet

3、the students as usual . 3、Divide the class into twelve groups. If the students do well, they will get a point. Step2 PresentationShow some pictures, such as:the green apple and the red apple.e.g. T: Which one is bigger? Ss: The red apple is bigger. T: Which one is smaller?Ss: The green apple is smal

4、ler.T: SoSs: The red apple is bigger than the green one.Show students some other pictures (Pan Changjiang, Wang Lihong , two ice creams, swimming in a pool, swimming in the sea, Annes handwriting and Dongdongs handwriting) to make comparisons in the same way as above. Show the following words on the

5、 screen: big, bigger, tall, taller, heavy, heavier, old, older, huge, huger, exciting, more exciting, good, better. Ask students to have a discussion with their partners to sum up the rules, and then ask some students to read their answers.Have a try: Show students some word cards and ask group A to
