Today we will learn the subjunctive mood that is used to express the imaginary of the speaker.1) The definition of toneEnglish verbs can generally be with three different tones: indicative, imperative and subjunctive. Different tone with a different form of the verb (sometimes also with syn

12、tactic form) to represent. 英语的动词一般可带有三种不同的语气:陈述语气,祈使语气和虚拟语气。不同的语气用动词的不同形式(有的还借助句法形式)来表示。2) The definition of subjunctive moodSubjunctive mood is a special form of the verb. One is used to represent the words of the speaker that it is not a fact, but a hypothesis, speculation, suspicion (used in the

13、adverbial clauses of condition or in an adverbial clause of concession); 一是用来表示说话人所说的话不是一个事实,而是一种假设、猜测、怀疑等(常用在条件状语从句中或让步状语从句中);One is to show the speakers desire, request, command, advice and so on (used in the noun clauses). 一是表示说话人的愿望、要求、命令、建议等 (常用在名词性从句中)。In short, subjunctive mood use to express

14、 the conditions of not a fact or is unlikely to happen. 总的来说,虚拟语气是用来表达非真实情况或者是不太可能发生的事(常用在名词性从句中)。Step3: Grammar learning: 1、Learning the structure of the subjunctive mood and the form of predicate verb.1) Real conditions for declarative, hypothetical situations likely to occur.(不用虚拟语气)if条件从句 主句 一般现

15、在时 shall/will+动词原形真实条件中,主句不能用begoingto表示将来,该用shall,will.e.g.:Ifyouleavenow,youwillneverregretit.( ) Ifyouleavenow,youarenevergoingtoregretit.()表示真理时,主句谓语动词不用shall(will)+动词原形,而直接用一般现在时的动词形式。E.g.: If we have chances, we can have further cooperation. If I have another chance, I will visit China again.2

16、) Sentence of unreal condition(用虚拟语气)T: Look at the pictures and the sentences, and summarize the form of predicate verb. A、与现在事实相反的假设(谓语用法) e.g.: If I had a great deal of money, I would buy a villa (别墅) for my parents.含义:You havent not much money now, so you cant buy a villa. If I were the schoolma

17、ster of Middle school, I would let the students get up a little later to get a better sleep. 含义:You are not the schoolmaster, so you cant let the students get up late.T: Summarize:if虚拟条件句主句与现在事实相反的假设If+主语+ 动词的过去式(be动词一般用were)即:If+一般过去时态(be动词一般用were)主语+would ( should / might / could )动词原形T: Can you g

24、 clause are not the same tense. 这些句子的主句和从句时态不一致,这就叫做错综复杂句。有时,主句与从句的动作发生在不同的时间,主句从句谓语动词的虚拟语气形式因时间不同而不同,即:if虚拟条件句与主句的时间不一致。e.g.: If it had rained last night, the ground would be wet now.
