In the process of language teaching, teacher should focus on developing students overall language proficiency and providing opportunities for students to talk about the clothes and the prices by combining listening and speaking activities

3、 with group work. Teacher should also meet students different needs to ensure that students learn in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.依据情境教学法的理念,通过营造一个真实的购物情境,让学生们在小组讨论和合作当中,学习描述服装类词汇的名称以及询问价格的方式,引导学生对语言材料的自主学习。在语言教学的过程中,注重学生综合语言运用能力的培养,并在听说教学活动中融入讨论、口头表达和书写任务,为学生提供综合运用语言的机会,学以致用。教师把学生作为教学的主体,尽量满

4、足不同学生的需要,让学生在一个轻松、愉快的氛围中进行学习。教学背景分析【Analysis of the material】This teaching material is the first period from Section A in Unit 7 How much are these socks?, which is about the names of clothes and talking about the prices of the clothes. This period is a listening and speaking part, appearing before

5、the grammar, reading and writing part, which can provide he basic language knowledge and listening and speaking skills for students to further talk about the clothes and ask about the prices. 本节课选取的是初中英语Go for it七年级上册第七单元的Section A部分。本部分是本单元的第一课时,是一个听说课,它安排在语法、阅读和写作的前面,是为了给学生的语言输出提供必要的语言材料,比如购物时所涉及的

6、衣服类词汇,以及简单询问价格的方式。而本节课的主要内容就是通过听说的练习让学生能与同伴谈论自己的衣物,以及用简单的方式询问衣物的价格。 【Analysis of the students】The 7th graders tend to be very enthusiastic and energetic in language classroom and very willing and active to participate. They are very familiar with this topic, because they have enough experience of bu

7、ying things in real life. But they are unable to talk about the clothes and prices in English. Therefore, the most difficult task for the teacher is to guide them to talk about the clothes and prices in English. For language knowledge, they just have had some background knowledge about colors, numbe

8、rs and simple names of clothes like hat, , but there are still some new words for the names of clothes including sweater, trousers, jacket, and socks. Therefore, its still a challenge for the teacher to guide them to talk about the clothes and prices in English in pair work and group work.本节课的授课对象是初

9、中一年级的学生,他们对于英语的学习充满兴趣,并且很乐于参与课堂的英语学习活动当中。对于这节课的主题来说,学生们也非常熟悉,因为每个同学都有去商店购物的经验,并且在他们小学阶段的英语学习当中也已经接触到表示价格的数字、形容衣服的颜色、以及简单的衣服词汇,因此,教师希望通过本节课的学习让学生掌握更多的关于衣服的词汇,例如:袜子、裤子、夹克等。同时,希望学生能通过教师的引导主动与伙伴交谈自己的衣物以及询问价格。【Teaching focus】1. 10、esThe main content in this class is to make students talk about clothes and their prices in a right way, so the teacher should pay more attention to guiding the students to talk about clothes and the prices of clothes in different ways such as mechanic practice, pair work and group work.本课时主要是要教会学生用

11、正确的方式去谈论衣物以及询问价格。因此教师应该更多地关注如何引导学生去主动地谈论衣服和衣服的价钱,教师可以通过机械操练、结对活动或者是小组活动去帮助学生学习和巩固这些表达方式。2. Improve the students listening and speaking skills This period is a listening and speaking lesson, the focus of which is to improve the students listening and speaking skills. Therefore, at the stage of senten

12、ce presentation, the teacher will play a short video for the students, let them find how to ask about the price, which can improve their listening skill while looking for specific information. For improving their speaking skill, the teacher will encourage students to talk about clothes and their pri

13、ces during productive activity. The teacher will give each group clothes cards and price labels, let them match them together and then encourage them to ask and answer.对于这节听说课来说,重点应该放在如何帮助学生提高听说技能。因此,教师在教科书已有的听力练习基础上,在句型操练的环节准备了一个视频,通过让学生找关键信息去提高他们使用听力策略的技能。而在加强学生说的能力上,教师采用了小组活动的方式,让学生在与同伴交流的过程中进一步熟

14、悉如何用英语谈论价格。【Difficult points】1. Apply the key words and sentence patterns in a real atmosphereThe most difficult thing, for students, is to talk about clothes and their prices in real context. Even though every student has experiences in buying clothes in real life, they have no chance to talk about

15、 their clothes and their prices in English while in the classroom, there is no real object to sell and buy. So the teacher will try to create a shopping atmosphere in the classroom at the beginning of this class by using some handcrafted clothes to make the class lively and interesting. However, in

16、this period, it is difficult for the students to differentiate How much is this.? and how much are these .? . So the teacher will use a mechanic way to guide the students to practice the sentence pattern How much is .?, while using a guessing price game to practice the sentence pattern How much are

17、these.?. At the same time, the teacher will try to design a clear blackboard writing, in which the singular form is on the left and the plural form is on the right.对于学生来说,本节课的难点是如何在真实的环境里运用这些询问衣物价格的句型。虽然每个同学都有去商店购物的经历,但是大部分学生都没机会用英语去表达。因此教师在课堂的开始通过短片的形式去引导学生进入话题,同时为课堂营造一个购物情境,并且利用手工制作的衣服卡片让购物情境更加生动有

18、趣。另外,在这节课中如何区分不同衣物询问价格的方式也是一大难点,对于学生来说,询问书包、帽子等单数名词的衣物很好掌握,而复数名词的衣物则有些困难。因此,教师在操练句子的时候,对于单数名词采用机械问答的方式,而复数名词采用猜价格的方式去操练。另外,教师在板书设计上也会将单数名词的问答写在左边,复数名词的问答写在右边,让学生能更清楚地从板书上学习本节课的重点内容。【Teaching methods】 To achieve the objectives of this lesson, the teacher will use situational language teaching method.

19、 At the beginning of this class, the teacher will set a shopping atmosphere for them to be familiar with the names of clothes. Meanwhile, the teacher will use some handcrafted clothes cards to make this class more vivid and interesting which can stimulate students interest. Moreover, the teacher wil

20、l ask them to talk about the clothes and ask about the prices in this shopping atmosphere where students can use the target language properly and cooperate with their classmates.在这节课上,教师将运用情境语言法去营造一个真实的购物情境,让学生们在这个情境当中去熟悉衣服的名称,同时教师用手工衣服卡片当作商品进行买卖,这样不仅能够激发学生们学习的兴趣,更容易让他们在这样的情境中运用所学的表达方式,促进他们的语言综合运用的能
