consistentvolume.ThentheresearchersusedamethodcalledEEG,whichinvolvedplacingasoftcapwithsensors

oneachbaby'sheadtomeasuretheirbrainwaves.Thebrainwavedatawasthenanalyzedtoobtainthephonological

information,allowingtheresearcherstocreatea“readout“ofhowthebabies9brainswereprocessingthedifferent

Contrarytowhatwaspreviouslythought,theresearchersfoundthatbabiesdon'tprocessindividualspeech
