chemicalswasdiscoveredinturbot.InMarch2007,KFCwasaccusedof

addingoilfilteringpower.InSeptember2008,afreshoutbreakofkidney

diseaseoccurred,duetobabyformulacontaminatedbymelamine,a

poisonouschemical.Theseincidentshappenedsofrequentlymainlybecause

thegovernmentfailedtoinspectefficiently.Therearearoundtennational

governmentdepartmentsandnumerousprovincialandlocalagenciesthat

sharetheresponsibilitytoensurefoodsafetyandmonitorfoodproductionand

sales.However,theirdutiesareoftenoverlappingandambiguous,which

makesthemonitoringsystemunresponsive.Inmyopinion,toguaranteethe

foodsafety,thegovernmentshouldattachgreatimportancetofoodinspection

andimprovethesupervisionmechanism.Theyshouldcheckthefood

productsinthemarket,andimmediatelypullthosedisqualifiedproductsoff

shelves.Inthisway,Chinesefoodwillbecomesaferandsafer.
