本文曾获得北京电视台、国家教育部举办的Myteacher英语演讲竞赛优胜奖。在以“我的老师”为主题的演讲会上，这篇演讲出人意料地将计算机称作自己的老师，以吸引听众的留意。然后又用事实与推理证明计算机的确是一个“老师”，从而赢得了听众的共鸣。某些语言上的不足之处点评修改如下：

(1)在every后，territory用复数，明显是错误的。另外，表示“各个领域”，用field为好。

(2)原文时态用错了。

(3)concept是可数名词。make后的宾语补语假如是不定式的话，要省略to。另外，一般不用被动不定式，而只用过去分词。deeply也有中国式英语之嫌。

(4)helpsb.(to)do，不用doing。
