UnitedStates,centeredonthedisadvantagestowomenofassumingthe

housewife,srole.AlIfeministsbeIievethatwomenshouldnotbeforced

intoassumingit,andthatalternativechoicesshouldbeavaiIabIe.Many

feminists,suchasthepresentwriter,gofurtherandbeIievethatthe

disadvantagesoftheroleofhousewifearesogreatthatitwouIdbebetter
