Unit 5 Nelson Mandela教学目标,这个单元围绕着伟人的品质展开,着重介绍了前南非总统纳尔逊曼德拉的生平故事和英雄事迹。作者借助穷苦的黑人工人的口吻,使文章读起来亲切自然、引人入胜。可以这么说,通过本单元的学习,不但教会了学生很多的语法知识和语言点,还留给他们一定的思考空间,从某种程度上说,这个单元具有不可忽视的德育意义。下面就本单元分为六个课时,逐一说明。,语言目标: 1.掌握词汇表和主要课文中涉及的常用单词、短语和句型。 2.学习用where、when,介词+which/whom,引导的定语从句 技能目标: 1.能运用恰当的表达方式对人物发表意见进行讨论。 2.能听懂任务和事件,抓住关键词,正确理解话语间的逻辑关系。 3.能在阅读中迅速获取主要信息,根据上下文线索预测故事发展, 猜测词义等。 4.能用恰当的语言简单地描述人物,并简单地表达自己的意见。 情感目标 1.了解Nelson Mandela 的生平事迹,加深学生对种族歧视的了解和认识。 2.认识伟人所应具备的优秀品质,并向他们学习,以提高自身素质,树立正确的人生观。 3.学会一分为二的态度观看待事物。,第一课时训练听和说的能力,教学目标 一.语言目标: 1.单词:quality. mean. active. generous. selfish. selfless. devoted. found. 2.词组:devote to, die for, fight against, fight for, give up, in prison, believe in, in a peaceful way. 3.句子: Thats one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.,Great people,A great person is someone who,is active in social activities. is determined, unselfish and generous. should follow his ideas and never lose heart. usually gives up something to achieve his goals-,Discussion,I think/I dont think: In my opinion; I am afraid; I agree/dont agree; I prefer; Whats you opinion? She devoted herself to her career. 3. devoted adj. 挚爱的,忠诚的 Believe in 相信信仰 Found 成立建立 Fight for 为而斗争 Fight against 打仗,作战,战斗 Give up:放弃 Thats one small step for(a)man,one giant leap for mankind。这对一个人来说只是一小步,对于人类来说却是一大步。,第二课时-训练学生精读的能力,语言目标: 1.掌握文章中的生词和短语。 2.了解由where,when,Why,介词+which,引导的定语从句。 技能目标: 1.学会讲述故事,了解主人翁的生平事迹。 2.进一步训练学生略读、细读、归纳等阅读技巧,把握篇章中心内容,并深入理解文章内涵,表达自己观点尝试做采访。 情感目标: 1.了解Nelson Mandela 的生平事迹的同时,加深学生对种族歧视的了解和认识。 2.认识、体会并学习主人翁的高贵品质和作为领袖人物的非凡魅力。,Main idea,What does Elias tell about in his story? He taught us during the lunch breaks and the evenings when we should have been sleep. b. They were not cleverer than me, but they did pass their exams. c.
