本节课教学效果明显,达到了既定的目标要求,教学过程进展顺利,在整个教学过程中,小组合作与自主学习相结合,任务型教学贯穿始终,学生的主观能动性得到充分发挥,学生积极探讨,踊跃发言,既解决了问题又理解了文章。体现了教师的主导作用和学生的主体地位,让学生在乐中学,并且有效完成教学目标。本课时是高三英语选修7第一单元阅读课,是本单元的第一个课时,属于精读课。是一篇内容涉及马蒂疾病及疾病给生活带来的困难和他克服困难后所做的事情。作者以第一人称的口吻,讲述了自己生病及战胜疾病的故事。故事一共分两部分:第一部分马蒂疾病及疾病给生活带来的困难;第二部分讲述他克服困难后所做的事情。学生通过对课文的阅读理解,会由衷地敬重马蒂的身残志坚的意志力,在习得阅读故事的技能的同时,能够加强关心、理解、帮助他人的意识。本教学目标旨在:

1、让学生能简单了解马蒂疾病及疾病给生活带来的困难和他克服困难后所做的事情的基本信息。

2、让学生会提炼关键信息,利用关键字词复述故事。

3、让学生正确认识残疾人所面临的挑战。担只要身残志坚,一样活出精彩人生。育品德教育于英语阅读教学之中。
