GABAergicinterneuronsinthestriatumMethoda.TenmaleWistarratswereanesthetizedwithsodiumPentobarbital(70mg/kg,I.P)b.10%solutionofbiotindextranamine(BDA)in0.01MPB(pH7.2)wasiontophoreticallyinjectedintotheCLc.Theglassmicropipette(tipdiameter:15μm)usinga

dendriticshaftsDiscussionInthepresentstudy,wedemostratedthatalargeproportion(91%)ofthalamostriatalfibersfromtheCLterminatedonPVimmunonegativedendriticspines,whichwereassumedtobethoseofstriatalprojectionneuronsThusThetargetpreferenceofthalamostriatalfibersfromtheCLseemsnottohaveasignificantbiastointerneuronsoverprojectionneuronsinthestriatumInsummaryThecerebello-CL-striatalprojectionhavepredominantaccess(probablyexcitatory)tostriatalprojectionneuro
