(简介)信用证(LetterofCredit，简称L/C)是国际贸易中最普遍使用的付款方式。对于交易双方来说，信用证是最可靠、安全的支付手段。信用证支付方式可以保证即使在进口商收到货物之前，出口商也能够得到货款，只要他履行厂合同规定并向进口商发货;它还可以确保进口商也能够在支付货款之前已拥有进口的货物。否则，出口商没有得到货款不会愿意发货，另一方面，进口商在实际掌控货物之前也不情愿支付货款，第三者即银行的介人解决厂进、出口双方在付款和交货问题上的矛盾。出口方和国外进口方签订合同，并规定以信用证作为支付方式。返回8.2SpecimenLetters
