1、八年级(上) Im going to study computer science. Section B (1a-1e)长超中学 施勤英一、学情分析学生已经在SectionA复习和学习了一些关于职业的词汇,已经会用“be going to do”的形式来谈论将来的计划以及打算怎样实现目标。而本课时只是话题改成了“New Years resolution”,句式基本不变。对学生来说应该比较容易掌握,所以我把下一课时阅读文本中的部分新词汇和句型等知识点提到这一课时先呈现并疏通,为下一课时作好铺垫,减轻了学生学习的压力。本课时通过学生的说到听再到大量的操练,学生口语表达的内容范围更广,综合运用语言能
2、力更强。二、教学目标 1.语言技能目标(1)能够谈论新年计划或决心以及为实现这一目标而做出努力。如:Next year, Im going to learn to play the piano. Im going to take piano lessons.(2)能用英语谈论新年计划或决心,提高听说读写能力。2.语言知识目标(1) 能掌握以下单词:resolution, team, paint,foreign, able, be able to, discuss, promise, physical, have to do with; self-improvement, take up, ho
3、bby, write down(2) 能掌握以下句式结构: What are you going to do next year? Im going to take guitar lessons. Sounds interesting./ Sounds like a good plan.Many resolutions have to do with self-improvement. Theyre going to take up a hobby like painting. Sometimes the resolutions may be too difficult to keep. 3.
4、情感态度目标(1) 通过谈论新年制定的计划与决心和怎样实现这一目标,鼓励学生要为自己定下的目标坚持下去,不要轻易放弃。学生能考虑自己今后的目标和人生目标,及早为将来做准备,树立正确的价值观和人生观。(2)学生有学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,善于合作,培养团结协作精神。三、教学重难点1.教学重点(1)掌握本课时出现的生词及句式结构。(2)进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。 2.教学难点(1)听力训练。(2)提前解决2b中的部分单词和知识点。 四、教学过程. Warming- up and revision1. Brain storming Jobs: teacher, nurse
5、, doctor, actor, actress, runner, basketball player, pilot, waiter, computer programmer, pianist, scientist, violinist 设计意图:学生们可以以小组为单位进行比赛,看哪一组说出来的职业最多。小组合作,全班分享,既复习了第一课时所学,又激发了学生学英语的兴趣,以饱满的情绪学习新的知识。2.Lets talk(Revision)A: What do you want to be when you grow up?B: I want to be a /anA: How are you
6、going to do that?B: Im going to 设计意图:让学生们依次说出他们的理想及打算如何去做。(可以用大屏幕提示职业或用学生们自己的真实理想),既是复习巩固,又为新课做准备。 . Presentation1.T: Do you have any New Years Resolutions? Whats your New Years Resolution?S1: Im going to get lots of exercise. Im going to make a basketball team. S2: Im going to learn another foreign
7、 language. Im going to learn French. S3: Let Ss say as many resolutions as they can.T:Well-done! All of you made good wishes or plans for next year, and among these resolutions, (1)some are about physical health.(2)Many have to do with self-improvement. (take up a hobby)(3)Some have to do with bette

Present some other New Years Resolutions on the big screen.e.g. learn to play the piano; learn to paint; make the soccer team; get good grades; eat healthier food; get lots of exercise , be able to, tooto3. Let Ss try remember these resolutions and think of other resolutions. 设计意图:因为本课
9、时的新单词较少,而下一个阅读课文本中有相当多的新单词和知识点,因此可以把词汇作分散处理,部分句型和知识点在这一课时就已呈现,减轻了下一节课的负担,为下一课时作铺垫。. Practice 1.Match the picture with the New Years Resolutions. 11、利用教材提供的图片资源,再次巩固所学。又通过pairwork让学生大量练习,反复操练重点句型。. Listening 1. T: Now please look at the chart. Tell Ss Lucy, Kim and Mike are talking about their New Years Resolutions. Listen and write down what their New Years resolutions are. What are their New Years resolutions?LucyShe is going to learn to play

16、清他们的New Years resolutions是什么?注意力放在“是什么”上;第二遍要听清他们打算如何做来实现他们各自的New Years resolutions;因此,同学们在听的时候应将注意力放在“如何做”上。最后,在把听力材料改编成report的形式,可以提高学生的听说读写总和语言运用能力。. Group work 1.Work in groups.
