2、 Book One. From this lesson, it starts asking the Students to grasp contents of each invention. The topic in the unit is “Inventions”. Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material. The grammar makes student use the passive voice to talk about some inventions in their d

3、aily life.Although my students are from rural area, they are interested in English very much. The students have learned English for about two years so far. They can understand 2500 words and some simple sentences, at the same time; they can also make lots of dialogues and sentences. The students hav

4、e taken a great interest in English now. (三三)Teaching aims The teaching aim is established according to Junior School English curriculum standards. 1. Knowledge objects (1) To make the Students know two key words: invent calculator. (2) To make the students know how to use a new structure - 发明物 + wa

5、s + invented (by sb) + in + the past year. 2.Ability objects (1) To train the Students ability of working in pairs. (2) To develop the Students abilities of introduction by learning the passive voice. 3.Moral objects (1) To enable the Students to know some important inventions in humans history. (2)

6、 To train the students to develop their spirits of creation in their daily life. (四四)Teaching key and difficult points The teaching key and difficult points basis is established according to Section A of unit9 in the teaching materials language goal. 1.Key points: (1).To recite key words . (2).To un

7、derstand how to know and use the past tense of the passive voice. 2.Difficult points: (1) What is the passive voice? (2) How to change the past tense of the active voice into the passive voice. (五五) Teaching aids: Multi-media computer, Tape recorder, inventions ,some pictures and so on. They will be

9、s. Part Four: Teaching Procedure 7Ill finish this lesson in four steps. First Ill divide the Students into 6 groups and bring 6 different pictures of some inventions into the class. Let students introduce their things. Step1 Warm-upStep1 Warm-up 1.There are some numbers and years on the screen and I

10、 will ask students to read aloud them.2.Question: Do you know what happen in 1876?3.let me lead my students into Unit9.Step2. Presentation This course is very important. Ill mainly talk about this step. Ill present some pictures such as a car, television, telephone, computer on screen. Arrange some

11、situations to help Students understand 1 a. The First scene: There is a calculator on the screen. I will give a question. T: What is this in English? S: A calculator T: When was it invented? Can you say the year?The Second scene: The students start to find the answer from the textbook.Ill write the

12、key points on the whiteboard while they are looking for . Step3.listening Practice 1. play the tape recorder. Let the Students listen to the tape and finish 1b. 2.read these dialogues behind the record three times.Step4. Production: In this step Ill give the Students a free space to show their abili

13、ties. Scene 1: The Students are reciting the dialogue in page133 . (8mins) Scene 2: According to the request from the screen, every student need to find out the sentence of the past tense of the passive voice.(3mins)Scene 3: make dialogues for these inventions each other one by one.
