Further thinking: This cartoon describes a common phenomenon nowadays. All the parents love their child, they want to give their child everything he/she wants to get. But some of them love their child excessively, they dont care about what the child really need and how much the child wants to get. Just like the scene showed in this cartoon, the sons need is out of the scope which his parents can afford, but for the love of parents to their child, the parents still give more money to their child. They still devote everything they have to their only son, no matter what the use of the money they give. I think these two parents dote on their son excessively, they try their best to satisfy the sons need, but they dont care about the use of the money. From this cartoon, we can conclude, More understanding is needed in relationship between two generations, Children should pay more attention to parents devotion, show more respect and love to their parents. Parents should care more about the life of their children either, they couldnt hold the opinion that having money is enough, because children need more understanding and more attention much more than giving them more money. 8 Description: This cartoon is very interesting, an official with a car of censorate stops on one side of cliff, facing the deep abyss in front of him. He holds the handcuffs in his hand and wants to seize the suspect who has broken the law, but he failed. The suspect is flying in the air, sitting on the swivel chair and smiling, because he has escaped out of the arrestment. In one side of the cliff, the resource is permitted, but in the other side, the resource is not working. The suspect is waving his hand to the official, say goodbye to him, because he is on behalf of two sides, he can escape out of resource only if he goes to the opposite side. In opposite side, resource is not permitted. Further thinking: Why the suspect can walk out of the law? I think the reason is mainly about the leakage of our law system. Why the official flinches to the suspect? Because he knows that once the suspect gets to the other side, he would not have the right to arrest him anymore, because the policy of the other side is different with that of his side. With the development of economy in our country nowadays, there are many kinds of policies and rules produced by many grades of government in order to improve the economy domestic. Because of the distemperedness of our legal system, some people make use of the leakage of the law; earn the illicit profit for themselves. Just like the scene screening on this cartoon, if the illicit behavior was found, only if the suspect moved to another place which has different policies, he can escape out of the laws punishment easily. So from this cartoon, we can learn that more healthy legal system and more monitoring departments should be built to avoid of things happened such like the cartoon showed. 9 Picture 3: Chickens skull head Description: This cartoon is very interesting, in this cartoon, the hen obviously has no idea about that it was fed by the poisonous feedstuff, mainly about melamine. The hen laid the egg and hatched it happily, but it didnt know that the egg is toxic. When the chicken came out of the egg, the hen collapsed, because the chickens head became a skull, just like head of skeleton. It must be the harmful effect of the melamine feedstuff. Further thinking: Nowadays many kinds of toxicity affect our life severely. There is poison in the milk, vegetable, egg, meat, even all of our common food is poisonous. For a little more profit, some people lost their conscience, they produced more and more toxic food, feedstuff, milk, vegetable, etc, do harm to our health and life. Let me think it deeply about it, if a chicken absorbed melamine turned out to be a skull head, what a babys head would turn to be? It may be a horrible sequence. So we should try our best to fight against those unconscionable people, forbid the poisonous food to appear on the market, punish those people who produced the toxic things severely. Only in this way we can assure the health of ourselves and our offspring, and only in this way we can attain the stability and development of the society. 10 Picture 4: “Buy” a cadre Description: There are three persons in this cartoon, a man, a boy and a lady. Obviously the man and the boy are father and son, and the lady is a teacher, and she is also the head teacher of the child. There is a lot of money in the fathers hand and the father wants to “buy” a cadres position in the teachers class for his son. The teacher is so angry that her face has turned into red after she heard the fathers demand. The little boy looks very cute and he should be a lively child. Perhaps he envied his classmates who are cadres in his class so that he asked his father to help him getting a cadres position, but he didnt know his father would take this kind of measurement to attain his goal. Further thinking: The father was very confident that his money can help his son to get a satisfied position in his sons class, probably he has succeeded in getting a higher position in his work by using the money, but this time he failed when he facing the head teacher of his son. The lady refused the father firmly. Perhaps the son only showed a little envy to his classmates who are cadres in his class, but the father did wrong. He should not “buy” a higher position for his son with money. The head teacher did well, she showed excellent character of a good teacher. From this cartoon we can infer, parents loved children, but the way of love is worthy of paying good attention to. That is to say, we should show our love to children, but we should not satisfy any demand from our children, especially those absurd demands. On the left side of the picture therere a lot of factories which produce more and more solid waste, flue gas and sewage. On the other side therere residents adjacent, they seem to be very worried about those factories pollution. In this cartoon, we can see that all of the pollutants are directly emitted outside without any purifying measurement. The environment in the vicinity will be polluted seriously, even do harm to the health of people adjacent, which is what the residents adjacent worried about. Further thinking: In the past one or two hundred years, the process of industrialization has made the most rapid progress, and the environmental pollution becomes more and more serious. The numbers of factories and other industrial facilities increased rapidly, and increasing total pollutants were produced by them and emitted to our environment. Environmental pollution is very serious threat to every life on the earth, it will produce a series of serious problems. In recently decades of years, environmental problem has become much more serious than any time before. In December 2009, United Nations Climate Change Conference was held in Copenhagen to require the countries of the world, including developed and developing country, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save the planet. Of course, greenhouse gas is one kind of pollutants. As the residents of the planet, we all have responsibility to reduce the pollutants emission and to protect our homeland. We should advocate low-carbon economy and low-carbon life, and adhere to sustainable development, not only for ourselves, but also for our offspring and the future of the earth. 12 Picture 6: Karoshi (过劳死过劳死) Description: This cartoon reflects a common social problem, but this problem is very serious. A young man died on the bed of hospital because of too much excessive work and having no time to take a rest. Therere a woman and a child beside the dead man. I have no idea that the woman is the mans mother or wife, but it doesnt matter. Obviously these three persons formed a whole family, but now this family lost its strongest support. The dead man is very young, he would have had more glorious prospectation, but he died in excessive working. He abandoned the responsibility of the whole family, his parents, his wife and child. Further thinking: Nowadays, people have to be burdened by more and more working pressure, especially to some urbanite and white-collar. Long times hard working will make us to be nervous, careless, bad-tempered, exhausted, even the worst consequence, death. We have heard a lot of examples about karoshi, most of them happened to those so-called successful people, about 30 to 40 years old. Because of double pressure from career and family, they had to work hard in any time, and they have no time to take a break for relaxing. They have been in sub-health for a long period of time. In other words, all of them are on the ways to karoshi. It is extremely severe social problem and every part of society should pay more attention to it. Just like the scene showed in this cartoon, we couldnt imagine how the family will become after the young mans death. The woman and the kid are very grieved, but the young man will not come back. From this cartoon we can conclude, no matter what the importance money is, life is the most primary for everyone. We must cherish our life, take good care of ourselves, and try our best to avoid the scene in cartoon happening again. 13 Picture 7: Toxicity of life Description: This cartoon looks very interesting at the first glance, but actually it reflects a serious social phenomenon nowadays. Its very interesting that three animals accused one person, the evidence of charge is their own products: pork of pig, eggs of duck and milk of cow. The person standing in the dock is an unconscionable processor, with two eyes made up of money and one black-colored heart. Because he wanted to get more money, he abandoned his conscience and fed these animals by poisonous forage, such as DDVP, Sudan red, melamine and etc. The processor is very scared because animals are condemning him angrily. Although this cartoon seems a little interesting, the screening scene often happens nowadays. Further thinking: Therere a little number of persons in our society, who want to earn more money for themselves, but they dont want to attain the goal by honest and hard working, on the contrary, they will get the profit by any ways, even offending against the laws. The toxic food which is sent to the market will do harm to our daily life severely, it will make us to lose our health, affect our emotion, even have influence to the health of our offspring. That will be serious consequence for our society. So we should follow the behavior of those animals in this cartoon, do the best we can to punish the little number of persons who had broken the law, put them to the dock, and make them to get the most vigorous punishment, just like what the cartoon is screening. It happens in a classroom, with a teacher and a little boy inside. On the blackboard therere series of encouraging words about studying hard and raising your own culture. The teacher is asking the little boy angrily, why did you let your father help doing your homework again? The little boy seems very innocent, obviously he couldnt catch what his teacher said, and he answered that he would not have let his father help him, but mother has no time to do the homework, so he turned to father. If we look at the homework carefully, we can find why the little boy doesnt want his father to help him, because therere lots of wrong marks on the boys homework, which is done by the boys father, it is sarcastic indeed. Further thinking: In this cartoon, the little boy i
