Ss: My birthday is in T：Whats the date? Ss: Its T：When is National Day? Ss: Its October 1st.等。教师也可出示日历卡问学生：Whats the date?（板书该句，全班拼读date），学生根据日历上的日期回答，如：“Its June 9th.”等。教师请学生书写12个月份的简写形式。2. 教师在黑板上画一张卡片，并画花朵或树等图案，写上Happy birthday。教师请学生一起拼读birthday。教师提问：What am I drawing ？学生回答：A birthday card.教师接着说：Yes, youre right.
