Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?Section A 1 (1a-2d)一、教学目标： 1. 语言知识目标：1) 能掌握以下单词：sitcom, news, soap, educational, plan, hope, find out, discussion, stand, happen, expect 能掌握以下句型：Do you want to watch the news? What do you want to watch? What do you think of talk shows? I cant stand them. I dont mind them. I like/love them. / I dont like them. 2) 学会陈述自己的看法；学会谈论自己的喜好。2. 情感态度价值观目标： 学会谈论流行文化，了解各类电视和电视节目的名称和自己的喜欢。 注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念，大力培养学生们的跨文化意义，形成自己独立的个性。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点：1) 学习掌握各类电视和电视节目的名称。2) 掌握want /hope /plan引导的不定式做宾语。 2. 教学难点：熟练使用love /stand /dont mind等词表达自己的爱好。3、 学情分析学生的整体英语水平较差，英语交际的能力比较弱，但学生的思维活跃，有参与意识。部分学生的基础较好，能够主动配合老师，愿意开口讲。他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧，相当一部分学生对英语毫无兴趣；部分成绩好的学生希望得到他人的肯定，因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来，有更多的机会来说英语，减少他们的恐惧感：通过学生间的合作学习，降低他们的学习难度，使他们体验到成功的喜悦。4、 教材分析本节课为Unit5的第一课时，从学生的现实生活切入，引导学生说出自己对电视节目的喜好，并通过练习来了解各种电节目的名称，主要以听说为主，注重培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力。五、教学过程Step1. Lead-in Do a survey and ask:Whats your favorite programmer?Do you want to watch a game show?【设计意图】：通过调查了解学生喜欢的电视节目，让学生了解电视节目分很多类，引出本课时的新知识。Step2. Present the new wordsLook at the pictures and ask:T:What are these TV shows?Ss: Theyre game shows/ talk shows /talent shows.【设计意图】：利用多媒体图片呈现本课时的词汇，形象、直观、生动，便于学生掌握。Step3.
