Lesson 18: Tiananmen Square一、教材依据:河北教育出版社初中起始版七年级英语第二册第三单元18课二、设计思路:本节课主要是让学生通过对天安门广场的学习,从而了解北京的名胜之一。而由于我所代的的学生身处山区小城,对这一切都很陌生,只是在电视及图片中看到过。为了让学生形象的了解天安门广场,我在课堂上主要采用了图片、幻灯片、录音、课件以及一些实物,尽量让学生感受到天安门广场的宏伟、壮观、以及文化特点。从学生的兴趣入手,低起点的教授新课。为了呈现新知识,激发学生的学习热情,我在展示每一个环节时,都尽量发挥学生的主体性,让学生的“动”来引领整个课堂,老师做到真正的主导者和组织者。并根据教学大纲的要求,对学生进行听、说、读、写的练习。有的放矢的设计每一个活动和每一道习题。让学生在自信中学习,在快乐中掌握知识。最后达到突破难点,突出重点的目的。三、教学目标:1. Understand the meaning of the text.3. Whats the weather like today? Whats the date today? What day is it today?. Introduce Tiananmen Square to the students2Present the new words and phrases.Square laugh fly quietly Hard string poor worry put bandage becomeThe teacher shows the pictures to the Ss and introduces.The Ss listen and learn.The teacher presents and teaches the new words.The Ss listen, learn and understand.通过大屏幕打出有关天安门的图片,向同学们介绍天安门的有关知识,帮同学们更好的来学习这一课。同时,乘热打铁,通过语境及图片,介绍并教授本课的新词及短语。Step3:practiceShow the students some pictures and make up situation, practice the use of the new wordsThe teacher builds the situation and gives some models.The students listen and think. Try to make some new sentences with the new words.Slides Some real objects这一环节主要训练学生初步运用新词,了解其基本用法,为后面教学做铺垫。并且使用风筝、细绳、绷带等,让学生有一种身临其境的感觉。Step4:listeningListen and answer the questions. Understand the meaning of the text.The teacher shows and plays the tapes.Then checks the answers. The Ss listen and find out the answers to the questions.The teacher explains the new phrases.slides老师将问题打在屏幕上,通过学生的听,找出问题的答案。进一步培养学生的听力能力及理解能力。并在答案中为学生讲解重点短语的运用。突出本节课重点,为突破难点做铺垫。Step4:lets do it.Drawing a map of Tiananmen Square1. looking at the map as a model .2. making their own maps.3. showing their own maps to each other.The teacher directs, helps and shows the maps. The Ss listen, watch and draw the maps. Then they describe their maps to each other.Maps 通过本环节进一步将本节课推向高潮将重难点做一个升华,让学生充分利用本节课所学的短语及句型来介绍他们自制的地图。然后show他们的地图。Step5:Exercises1.
