美国文学史（HistoryofAmericanLiterature）课程基本信息课程编号：15062198课程总学时：32实验学时：0学时课程性质：选修课程属性:创业教育类开设学期：第6学期适用专业：翻译对先修的要求：熟悉英国的历史文化与文学式发展脉络等。先修课程：《英国文学史》对后续的支撑：熟悉英国文学与美国文学发展的关系与渊源，进一步学习英美经典文学的流派与理论。为毕业论文撰写提供前期积累。一、课程的性质、目标和任务本课程是翻译专业的专业选修课程。本课程的目标在于培养学生阅读、欣赏、理解美国文学原著的能力，熟悉美国文化与文学发展的关系与渊源。通过该课程的学习，促进学生的文本分析能力和表达能力的提高，同时进一步提升对西方文学及文化的了解。本课程的任务是使学生对美国文学的历史、主要作家的创作思想和风格有初步的了解，熟悉美国经典文学名著。要求学生能认真完成教师布置的阅读任务，并积极参加课堂讨论等各种教学活动。二、课程教学的基本要求

1、理论知识方面：高等院校翻译专业要培养具有扎实的基本功、宽广的知识面、一定的相关专业知识、有较强适应能力、应变能力、自主能力和良好身心素质的复合型英语人才。在总结传统教学经验、探索新的教学理念、学习现代教育技术的基础上，本课程授课教师以语言教学理论和多媒体网络教学技术理论为基础，以更新教学内容和手段、重组教学结构为出发点，及时更新美国文学课堂教学模式，将传统教学和多媒体网络技术相结合，寻求以学生为中心的互动性、协作性、现代化和超文本化的现代教学模式。通过多媒体课堂教学、课后自主学习及教师网络辅助指导，拓展学生对美国文学常识的了解、巩固和深化学生的文学鉴赏能力；在扩大词汇量、知识面的同时，提高学生阅读文学原著的能力并较系统地掌握美国文学各种流派及阶段的发展历史、阶段性代表人物，及相关作品与文学理论等。
