Garthstoodoutsidehishousewithawidesmile.” 例如:(2023•河南)…fortestinghisnewinvention—UmbrellaHat.Hecouldhardlywaittoseewhetheritcouldkeeptherainoff.Hecarefully______thehatonhisheadandstartedwalking…A.raised B.placed C.dropped D.repaired【解析】考查动词。 raise“举起;饲养”;place“放置”;drop“掉落”;repair“修理,修补”。 (2023•河南)“Iwilldisplay(展示)threebestinventionsinmyshop.I'msureyouwillhavea(n)______ofwinningaprize.”54.A.choice B.chance C.excuse D.experience【解析】考查名词。 The14-year-oldgirlsaysthatsheknows______aboutcooking.A.many B.much C.little只有根据上文叙述,才知道这个女孩对于做饭了解很少,正确答案是C。 Thebookcostmealot.Ispent10ucnonthebox。 ItwasNewYear’sEve.Acoupleweredecoratingtheirroomwhenthemansaidtohiswife,“I’mgladthisyearfinishesinafew___1___.Whataterribleyearwe’vehad!”Hiswifeaskedhim,“Why?Idon’tunderstand!”Themanwasvery___2___andreplied,“Youdon’tunderstand?Thinkaboutwhathashappenedthisyear.Firstofall,Ihada(n)___3___toremovemykidney(肾脏).Remember?Lastmonth,Iturned___4___andIwastoldtomakeroomforsomeoneyounger.Huh!WhatamIgoingtodonow?Andyousurelyhaven’tforgottenthe___5___,whichmadeoursonstayinhospitalforthreeweeks,haveyou?Andthatmeanhe___6___takehisexamstogetintomedicalschool.Andwehadtobuyanewcar.___7___year!I’msogladit’sover.”Hiswifedidn’tsaymuch.She___8___theroom.Afewminuteslater,shecamebackinandsaid,“OK,Iheardwhatyousaid,butthisis___9___Iseethings.Yourkidneyhadbeen___10___youforyearsandyouwon’thavethatpaineveragain.Nowthatyoudon’thavetogotowork,youcanspendmoretimeinthe__11____,takingbettercareofyourflowers.Andthatisthe__12____you’vealwayswanted.Althoughthecarwasdestroyed,oursonstayed___13___.He’lldoevenbetterinhisexamsnextyearsincehe’sgotmoretimeto__14____.SoIthinkit’sagoodyear,andthenewonewillstartinafewhours.I’msureit’llbeanothergoodyear.”Wecan’tcontrolthethingsthathappentous,butwecan__15____howwelookatthem.Whateverhappens,youcanbeoptimisticornot—it’suptoyou.1.A.months
