寸、大小等。数字的读法最重要,会读,才会听。一般听力中不会有太大的数字,一般到

千位、万位。

数字的应用与语言基本功是相辅相成的,从基本做起,加强自身的语言功底,就会轻而

易举地解决数字问题。

数字表达包括基数表达、序数表达、小数、分数、百分数等,下面的一些词应熟练掌握:

数字的正规写法,从个位数往前,每三位数一个间隔,用逗号分开。如:

特别注意英汉在数字读法上的不同,英语中千(thousand),百万(million),十亿(billion),

无专门表示万,十万,千万和亿的词。细心点可发现,这三个词正好符合中间逗号的位置。

因此,正确听写数字的方法为:

1.听到英语数字,特别是较大的,不能把它翻译为中文,否则速度较慢,易出错。

辨明英语中的电话号码,要掌握以下几点:

1.与一般数字的念法不同,电话号码是每个数字分别读出,大于九的数字不同。因此

掌握从0到9的数字发音并且能够迅速作出反应是最重要的。所有的数字通常是两个一组

或三个一组有节奏地读出。在包括区域代号的电话号码中,念区域代号后要稍作停顿。
