过去分词作表语时,与谓语动词构成系表结构,该结构易与被动结构混淆:一般情况下,作表语用的过去分词前可加quite,very,rather等修饰语。而被动语态强调动宾关系,多可后接by短语。Theboywasabsorbedinthebook.男孩沉浸在书中。(系表结构)Theboywassavedbyapoliceman.男孩是被一名警察救的。(被动语态)要点三:个别情况下,主语是人也可表示“令人/使别人感到...”;主语是物也可表示“感到/觉得...”。Heisterrifying.
