过去将来时过去将来时表示对过去某一时间来说将要发生的动作或呈现的状态,常用在宾语从句中。这个时态是一个相对的时态,立足于过去某时,从过去的观点看未来。一、过去将来时常用于以下几种情况:(1)就过去某一时间而言,

以后将要发生的事情;e.g.Johnsaidhewouldcome.(2)过去安排好要做的事情;e.g.IleftmyofficeearlybecauseIwasgoingtoseeJenlater

thatafternoon.(3)后来真实发生的事情。e.g.ThatjourneywastochangeToby'slife.二、过去将来时的构成有以下几种形式:(1)“would+do”结构,表过去将来或过去习惯性的动作。e.g.Shetoldusthatifitrained,shewouldnotgowithus.

Hewouldtakeawalkneartheforestintheevening.(2)“was/weregoingto”结构表示按计划或安排即将发生;根据当时

情况判断可能会发生。e.g.Theywerenotgoingtogohikingunlesstheyfinishedtheirhomework.

Itseemedasifitwasgoingtorain.(3)“was/wereto”结构表示:

a.曾经计划要做某事,但不一定执行;命中注定要发生b.本应该。e.g.IfeltnervousbecauseIwassoontoleavehomeforthefirsttime.

Youweretoreportittothepolicethen.(4)“was/were+doing(come,go,arrive,leave,begin,start…)”结构表示

按计划、安排过去看将来要发生的动作。e.g.Ididn’tknowwhentheywerecomingagain.

Hetoldmethathewasarriving.(5)“was/wereaboutto”结构表示即将要发生的动作,不与表示

时间段的状语连用。常用句型:were/wasaboutto…when…;

were/wasonthepointofdoing…when…。e.g.Thebuswasabouttostart.
