1.教材分析 本单元以Backtothepast为话题,介绍了古代罗马和古代中国已经消失和现存的著名文化古迹,旨在通过单元教学让学生了解古代文明和考古学的一些基础知识并掌握有关词汇,能就此话题发表演讲,并能在演讲时使用正确的语言;同时完成对两个古代文明古国在同一时期内所发生事件和变化的比较。本单元语言知识部分还要求学生掌握pairnouns与groupnouns的概念和用法、Objectcomplement的用法、并列连词短语either...or和neither...nor...的用法以及主谓一致。 1.1Welcometotheunit用图片形式向学生展现了古希腊的宙斯神像、印度的泰姬陵、古巴比伦的空中花园以及中国的布达拉宫四个神奇的古代文明。要求学生围绕本单元的主题Backtothepast对四幅图片展开讨论,初步了解古代人类文明的有关知识。
