Methodology

Thestudywasconductedthroughaliteraturereviewofrelevantdatabases,includingPubMed,CINAHL,andCochraneLibrary.ThestudyincludedarticlespublishedinEnglishbetween2010and2021,whichexaminedsurgicalnursingcarequalityindicators.TheselectioncriteriaincludedstudiesthatreportedthedevelopmentandtestingofperformanceindicatorsfornursingcareintheOR,andthestudiesthatusedasystematicapproachandastandardizedmethodologyfordevelopingandvalidatingtheindicators.Thestudyexcludedstudiesthatwerenotbasedonsystematicreviewsandmeta-analyses.

3.PatientIdentificationandVerification:thisindicatorensurespatientsafetybyverifyingthecorrectpatient,procedure,andsitebeforesurgery.
