tionstaffavailabletothestudios.Inthebeginning,likeanynewindustry,therewasn'tanystaffavailablewhodidn'trequireagooddealoftraining.Themediocrequalityofworkinthoseearlyyearsreflectedmoretheanimator'slackofexperiencethananythingelse.AsinTaiwan,Korea,JapanandthePhilippinesbefore,Chineseanimationhasmaturedandgrownwithtime.Studioshavelearnedwhattheirclientsexpectandhavenowhadthetimetobothtrainandpolishtheirstaffsoastodeliverwhatisexpected.Managementhasalsomaturedandtechnologyhasbeenembracedtohelpthestudiosproducelargevolumesofworkwithindemandingtimeframes.Nearlyallofthelargestudiosofferdigitalinkandpaintserviceswhichremediesmanypastproblemscausedbysub-standardfilmlaboratoriesandpoorcameraequipment.3.3WeaknessTheanimatorsinChinamustbecomemoreintegratedwiththecharacterstheyareproducing.ThesystemofpayingartistsinChinaisnotveryreasonable,whichissimilartothesystemsusedthroughoutAsiaintelevisionanimationindustry.Animators,whoearnmoneyjustfordailylife,theydonothaveenoughsalariesandenoughguaranteetorealizetheirrealdream.Andreallymakingtheirlivingonapiecerateorfootagesystem.Inotherwords,thissystemhasalotofbuilt-inproblems.Ifartistsfeelnoconnectionorrelationtotheworktheyaredoingandderivenoprideorenjoymentfromtheirworksandefforts,theywillnaturallyproduceatthelowestandfastestpossiblelevelofacceptance.Whatunfortunatesituationitisifanartistneverseetheirworkfitintothefinalproductwhichtheywerealwayswishingtobefinished.ComparedChinawithJapan,KoreaorthePhilippines,Chinashadbeenexposedtowesternculturefromtheyearof1978.TheproblemwillbesolvedaslongasChinakeepsitswindowopentotheworldandmoreandmoretalentedyoungartistscontinuetocomeintotheanimationindustry.4.LearningofDisney'ssuccessFirstly,comparingChinatoAmericainthefieldofanimationindustry,Chinaisgoingthroughthe"imitation"stagebeforeenteringthe"innovation"and"invention"stages.CreativityisanenginesinleadingtheChineseanimationindustry.Creativityandcommercearetwosidesofthesamecoin,onefacilitatesthegrowthoftheother.SothekeypointtoimproveChineseanimationindustryistodevelopeconomy,meanwhile,culturalandcreativeindustryalsoplayagreatroleintheeconomyasthedemandforitisgrowing.Thegovernmentshouldinvestinculturaltosupportitsdevelopment.Inotherwords,itmustsetuptherulesofhowtodeveloptheChineseanimationindustry.Secondly,takethemeparkforexample,HongKongDisneylandopenedin2005,itwasmetwithbadresponses.OneofthemainreasonwasthatDisney’straditionalmethodtoimposeitsAmericanproductstotheChineselocalcontextdidnotwork.Fromaglobalizationperspective,Disneycompanytookfourmajorchangesthosewerereductionofprices;adaptationtolocalvisitors’customs;changeofdecorationsandsettingsandadaptationoflaborpractices.Eversince,HongKongDisneylandhadbeenprovedsuccessfulinparkattendanceandrevenueswereincreasedfromthattimeon.OnNovember4th,2009,ShanghaihadwontheapprovalfromChina'scentralgovernmenttobuildaDisneyparkinthecity'sPudongNewArea.TheWaltDisneycompanywasindiscussionswithShanghailocalgovernmentaboutdetailedplanstosetupthethemepark.WhichisthebestexampleofDisney’sglobalizationstrategy.Thirdly,atthatpointintimetherewerereallyonlytwoanimationstudios:ShanghaiAnimationStudioandJadeAnimationStudioinShenzhen.ShanghaiAnimationisastate-ownedandJadeAnimationStudioisanewjoint-venturecompany.Theformerproducesfilmsforthehomemarket,andwhichhadbeeninexistenceforanumberofyearsandhadalotoftalentedartists,however,theywerenotfamiliarwithwesternanimationtechniquesortiming.Andbeingthequintessentialstate-ownedcompany,thebureaucracyissothickthatyoucouldnotcutitwithaknife.Thelaterstudio,JadeAnimationStudio,asanewjoint-venturecompany,locatedinthecityofShenzhen,about60milesfromHongKonginthenewSpecialEconomicZone.JadeAnimationStudioisownedandoperatedbyalargebroadcastgroupinHongKongwhichisnamedTVB.JadeAnimationStudiowasestablishedtoproduceanimationforTVBandprovideinkandpaintservicesfornumerousJapanesestudios.Neitherofthesestudiosfeelresponsibilityfortherealprojectofthemselves.JadeAnimationStudioisprimarilyaninkandpaintservicelackinganimators,whileShanghaiAnimationStudioistooentrenchedinthebureaucracybecauseofitsstate-ownedsystem.Thus,todevelopChineseanimationisnotathingofonecompanybutathingthatneedtobesolvedthroughourwholenation'sawarenessofthepoliticalsystem.JustlikeDisneycompanywhichdevelopfortheirdreamsandhappiness.Conclusion
