我父亲是一个音乐爱好者，能拉一手美丽的二胡。那时侯家里穷，惟一值钱的家什就是父亲的那把二胡。记得我几岁时，一到夏天的晚上，父亲就拿上他心爱的二胡，坐在临街的门口石凳上，安闲地拉上几段小曲，有些好乐的村民还会时不时地唱几口。有一次，我听到父亲演奏这首《二泉映月》，乍一听简直热爱得不得了，那如泣如诉的旋律从父亲那满是老茧的指间滑出，是那么动人心魄，我不由得被它紧紧地吸引了。那时侯，我不懂音乐，冥冥中只觉得自己好象融入了乐曲中，心绪随仆人公变化。以后的日子里，每当听到父亲演奏这首曲子，我就马上悄悄地凝神停滞倾听。但是，这首乐曲真正打动我，却是在我上师范的那一年秋天。

记得那是一个下午，音乐赏识课，音乐老师拎着录音机来上课，当我得知要赏识阿炳的《二泉映月》时，冲动的心都要跳出来了。音乐开头了，乐曲继短小的引子后，旋律上行，呈微波形的旋律线，恰似端坐泉边寻思往事，其次乐句从高八度音开头，打破了前面的沉静，开头昂扬起来，流露出无限感慨之情，旋律在高音上滚动，并展现了新的节奏因素，柔中带刚，心绪更为冲动。主题从开头的宁静沉重逐步转为冲动昂扬，深刻地透露了内心的生活感受和顽强自傲的生活意志，这是一位饱尝人间辛酸和痛楚的盲艺人的感情流露。全曲的主题变奏五次，随着音乐的陈述，所表达的情感得到了充分的抒发，深化了主题。
