芝加哥住宅自然分析

这是安藤忠雄第一个在美国的作品。在这个项目中，他发现他要面对的完全是一个城市的文脉，一个缺乏自然元素的芝加哥社区环境。Inthis,hisfirstUSproject,however,thearchitectfindshimselfgrapplingwithanentirelyurbancontext,aChicagoneighborhoodentirelyvoidofnaturalelements.面对这样的城市文脉，安藤忠雄选择与外界隔绝。这样，建筑的空间怡人而具有内向性，完全的聚焦在中间纯洁静谧的水池空间。Evidentlyclosed-offfromtheworldaroundit,thearchitecturalspacebecomesintimate,inward-turning,completelyfoldedbackontotheclear,calmspaceofthepool.根据这座私人住宅的各种需要，安藤忠雄835平米的基地分成两部分，中间通过一个大而长的起居室相连接。这种“U”形的平面布置使得安藤忠雄能够把这样一池净水融入他的设计，与建筑相映生辉。

IntheChicagohome,theelegantrectangularstructureoftheportal,paralleltothefrontofthebuildingandmarkedlyhorizontalinnature,regularizestheformsofthepool,whichisgentlycurvedtoaccommodateanoldbeechtree.Enclosedbythewall,thehouseiscutofffromoutsidecitylifeinChicago.Aroundthepool,thetreesofitsquietinthehousecreateapurenaturalenvironment.

Withthehelpofthepoolwater,thelandscapeviewpoursinsidenaturally.Changesinlightandshadownotonlysoftentheconcretetoformtherigidwallspace,timeandspacewillalsobeincorporatedasabody.围合的墙体将芝加哥世俗的城市生活隔绝在外，中心水池和围绕着它的树林在内部创造出一种静谧纯净的自然氛围。在水面的烘托下，景长廊和主空间凹进曲面将自然景色引入室内，光与影的变化既柔化了混凝土壁体形成的僵硬空间，也将时间与空间融为一体。.芝加哥住宅全由几何体构成，墙体都是垂直相交的。主体是两个纯净的方形体块,中间用长方形走廊连接。整座建筑只出现了一处曲面，而这处凹进曲面的出现是为了将自然的景色融入建筑，一棵树就生长在这里，仿佛与建筑成了密不可分的整体

Thebuildingappearsonlytheonesurface,whichoccursattheconcavesurfaceofthenaturallandscapeinordertointegrateintothebuilding,atreetogrowhere,asifthebuildinghasbecomeinextricablylinkedwiththeoverall建筑的三个部分充分满足各自功能需要：主要居住空间（三层），客房（两层），以及中间长长的连接空间。Thebuilding‘s3volumesfulfillentirelyseparatefunctions:themainresidencehas3levels,whiletheguesthousehas2floors.Thetwomainvolumes,ofcompact,almostsquareform,areconnectedbyalonger,lowerbody.长长的连接部分两层分别有两个作用：一层是一个大大的客厅；二层是一个提供广景的长长的平台。优雅的外部楼梯将两层连接起来。Thelongjoinpartplaystworoles,asaclosedlivingroomandavastscreened-inoutdoorpatio:acrossfromit,anelegantrampconnectsthetwolevels,whilethepatiocanalternativelybereachedusingthestairwaysinsidetheindividualresidentialunits.尽管这座建筑与外面的城市隔绝，但是其内部通过反复运用制造透明性的手法—对水面的透明墙和透明墙对内部的分割，使得内部空间交流更具有亲近感。但是，主、客两区域的差别（距离或是面积等）又不会使彼此相混乱。
