1、Unit3 FoodLesson1 According to the English course standard, Ill explain it from 6 aspects.Analysis of teaching materialNow lets focus on the Analysis of teaching material, there are 3 parts. Analysis of book. Ill introduce the Lesson1 of Unit3. Its from SL ,Book 5. This unit mainly talks about food.

2、 Students can ask if others like some kind of food . Students can ask what someone want to eat three meals a day. Analysis of lesson. In Lesson1, there are 4 parts. From the main scene, students can perceive and learn the new words about food in the context. In part A, students can learn new words t

3、hrough the chant. In part B, students can use the key structures to practice the new words in the context. In part C, students can trace and write. Analysis of students. Most of the students have strong interest in learning English. The students love performance and imitation. A few students have po

4、or basic handwriting.Students have known the structures: Do you like.? Yes, I do./ No, I dont; I want; words: egg、apple, fish, vegetables, chicken, noodles, rice.; The main scene, chant and words are new knowledge.2. Teaching aimsThats all for the teaching material. Lets focus on the teaching aims.1

5、) Aims of knowledge and abilities: Based on the students comprehensive ability and qualitySs can understand, speak out and read the 7 new words .Ss can write the 7 new words in four lines and three squares.Ss can have good abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.2) Aims of emotion: Bas

6、ed on the students affective attitude and thinking characterSs can improve their ability of cooperation and communication. Ss can have a good habit of not picky food.Key points and difficult pointsThats all for the teaching aims. Now, lets focus on the Key points and difficult points. Based on the s

7、tudents language cognitive ability.Key points: To perceive and learn the 7 new words in situations.Difficult points: Ss can master the pronunciation of the new words.Teaching and learning methodsTo achieve teaching aims and stimulate students interest in learning English. Ill use Task-based teaching

8、 method and Situational teaching method. To make the learning easier. Ill use group work, discussion and interaction.To make class more active and interesting, I need these teaching aids: cards, multimedia and brief strokes.Teaching procedures and purposes of design Now, Ill focus on the most import

9、ant part, there are 5 steps.Step1. Warm upLets chant: Do you like noodles?.From SL Book 2.Purpose: To review the sentence and stimulate students interest. They can feel relaxed and pay attention to the class quickly.Step2. Lead-inI set 2 questions: What did you have for breakfast? Where can we buy t

10、hese food? Now lets go to the supermarket with our friends.Purpose: To make the transition naturally to the main scene .Step3. PresentationThere are 4 activities: Activity1 Main scene. Activity2 Look, listen and chant. Activity3 Lets talk and tick or cross. Activity4 Lets write.Activity 1: Main scen

11、e. I divide the main scene into 3 parts.Purpose: To perceive and learn the new words about food in the context.In part 1: Observe the main scene carefully:I set 2 questions: Who are they ? What food can you see? Purpose: To stimulate students ability of divergent thinking.In part 2 and part 3: Lets

12、discuss and listen. I set 5 questions. What does Bills mother say? What does Bill want? Does Bill want an ice cream? What does Yaoyaos mother say? What does Yaoyao and her father want?Purpose: To lead out the 5 new words : bread, ice cream, tomatoes, potatoes and meat.Ways to teach new words:Two asp

13、ects: Meanings and Pronunciations.Meaning aspect: (Draw the pictures , write the new words on the blackboard.)Purpose : To make the class more interesting.Pronunciation aspect:Purpose: To solve the difficult point. Activity 2: Look, listen and chant. 1)Look and say: Who are they?What does Lily like?

14、Purpose: To stimulate students ability of divergent thinking.2)Listen and say:What food can you hear?Purpose: To listen and to perceive.3)Can you hear any other food? Purpose : To lead out the new words(cake and fruit).Ways to teach new words:Two aspects: Meanings and Pronunciations.4 )Practice new

15、words (Four ways to practice new words):Drive trains, voice down and up, read in pairs, read in boys and girls.Purpose: to stimulate interests.5 ) Chant and point Purpose: To deep the impression.Activity3: Lets talk and tick or cross. (B)This is a group work and I use task-based teaching method to s

16、olve the key points and difficult points. Task1: Ss observe and talk about the picture.Purpose: to solve the teaching aims.Task2:Teacher and student demonstration: Do you like. ? Yes, I do./ No, I dontPurpose: To help students understand the purpose of teaching. Guide students in effective language

17、practice. Task3: Group work: the whole class carried out activities according to the above demonstration. Purpose: To improve the ability of cooperation and communication.Task4: Do a survey. Purpose: To practice the words in the context.Activity 4: Lets writeThere are 3 rules:1 ) watch the CD and ke

18、ep it empty. 2 ) Depict. 3 ) Space. Purpose: To build a good foundation of hand-writing in the initial stage. Step4. ConsolidationChant together Purpose: consolidate and check the students study in the chant. 2. To cultivate the good habit of not picky food.Step5. HomeworkChoose five words of food they like to make word cards. Purpose: To respect Ss individual difference and consolidate the new knowle
