Brief Introduction2Life and careerEarly years Allen attended Lakeside School(湖滨中学), a private school in Seattle, and befriended Bill Gates, who was almost three yea

4、rs his junior but shared a common enthusiasm for computers. They used Lakesides teletype terminal (电传终端) to develop their programming skills on several computer systems. After graduation, Allen attended Washington State University but dropped out after two years in order to work as a programmer for

5、Honeywell (霍尼韦尔) in Boston, placing him near his old friend again. Allen later convinced Gates to drop out of Harvard University in order to create Microsoft.1968, Allen and the 13-year-old Bill3Life and career Allen co-founded Microsoft with Bill Gates in 1975 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Allen was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma(霍奇金淋巴瘤) in 1982, and treated by several months radiation therapy(放射治疗). However, he d
