1、有机结合读说写,全面理解文章高二英语Book 7Unit5 Keep it up,Xie Lei -Chinese student fitting in well课例研究报告有机结合读说写,全面理解文章-Keep it up,Xie Lei Chinese student fitting in well教学课例研究一背景描述:中学英语新课标规定:“在四种技能的综合运用中,说和写是表达的技能,听和读是理解的技能”。由此可见,阅读教学在中学英语教学中占有相当重要的位置。中学英语新课程标准还强调:“中学英语教学应在进一步发展学生综合运用语言能力的基础上,着重提高学生获取信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力

2、,形成跨文化的意识和基本跨文化交际的能力。”阅读的最终目的就是看懂理解文章,获得信息。除教授学生掌握阅读的基本技能(包括找读(look for suitable reading materials,略读(skinning),查读(scanning),扫读(survey,跳读(come across new words,预测下文,猜测词义,推理判断,了解重要细节)来获取信息理解文章外,还可以结合“说”“写”,在课堂中对学生进行写和说的技能训练,引导学生理解课文语篇含义,从而全面的把握文章的主题思想。本学期我校开展了各学科的教研活动。我们高二年级英语备课组对Unit5 Travel aboard阅

3、读课进行了集体备课,探讨如何有机的结合读说写,帮助学生理解课文,从而获得更好的教学效果。二教学问题:(一).教材分析本单元的中心话题是“出国学习或旅游”,课文始终围绕这一主题展开。语言知识和语言知识和语言技能部分主要是围绕这一中心话题进行设计的。本节课的教学内容是该单元的“阅读”(Reading)部分,介绍了主人公谢蕾第一次去英国伦敦求学进预科班时所面临的问题,以及房东和导师对她的帮助,使她大胆正视问题,迎接挑战,最终树立了信心。本节课是一节阅读课,旨在通过文章阅读的训练,让学生基本掌握阅读的技能(寻找文章的大意,略读,扫读,找读,跳读,预测等)。同时,在授课过程中注重培养学生写的能力和说的能

4、力,全面彻底地理解课文。(二) 学生分析本次教学对象为为高二文科平行班学生,绝大多数同学英语基础较差,单词量匮乏,尤其是部分男学生缺乏学习英语的兴趣。尽管经过一年的学习,他们已习惯了高中阶段的学习生活,但是并没有养成良好的学习习惯,也没有掌握正确学习英语的方法。大多数的学生来自农村,他们渴望接受新知识,对新事物充满了兴趣。因此,教学过程中应当充分调动学生的学习积极性,并帮助他们培养良好的学习习惯,指导他们正确的学习方法。(三) 教学目标本节课是一节阅读课,旨在通过文章阅读的训练,让学生基本掌握阅读的技能(寻找文章的大意,略读,扫读,找读,跳读,预测等)。根据课标要求和学生生情,我制定了如下三个

5、教学目标:1.知识目标:帮助掌握该部分的重点词汇,词组和句子。帮助学生概括文章的中心大意,概括在国外学习生活的优缺点。2.能力目标:使学生了解文章主人公谢蕾在伦敦的学习生活。3.情感目标:培养学生克服困难和接受挑战的精神。(四) 教学方法自主学习,合作学习,任务型教学。利用多媒体,音像,等资料给同学们以生动形象的感官认识。根据需要设计目的明确的任务,运用解决问题型任务教学,加强学生自主学习的能力。通过分组来完成任务,增强团结协作的能力。三、第一次教学实践:(一). 教学设计说明:1. 本节课内容是模块7第五单元第一篇课文阅读输入课。旨在通过文章阅读的训练,让学生基本掌握阅读微技能(寻找文章的大

6、意,略读,扫读,找读,跳读,预测等)。2. 首先运用“头脑风暴”营造宽松和活跃的课堂气氛,充分调动学生的学习积极性,激活学生的思维,培养他们的发散思维能力。让学生就“出国学习或旅游需要考虑的事情”进行四人小组讨论并将答案尽可能多地写在纸条上,然后交流汇报,实现资源共享,同时自然过渡到下一个内容。3. 学生快速阅读完课文后,要求学生用三十个词左右概括全文大意或填关键词的方式,考虑到不同层次的学生,概括能力强的学生可以用自己的话来概括,差一点的学生通过模仿填关键词的方式慢慢地掌握归纳概括的能力。此任务按照高考题任务型写作的归纳部分来设计,通过平时阅读教学注重培养学生的概括能力,与高考接轨。4. 让

7、学生运用关键词复述课文的内容,目的是培养学生的逻辑思维能力,语言组织能力及口头表达能力,有助于学生进一步熟悉语言材料,积累语言知识,同时可以检查学生对课文理解的深度,最终以达到语言输出的目的。5. 接着设计了一个“一分钟采访”,让学生运用本文的关键词语编一个采访本文主人公谢蕾留学国外情况的对话,目的是为了培养学生将所学到语言灵活用于实际情景中,即语言实际运用的能力,鼓励他们积极思维,大胆表现和敢于将自己的看法用较为得体的语言表述出来。将读、写、说三种基本技能有机结合,能让学生对课文有全面的掌握。(二).教学过程:Step 1 Greeting, our slogan, and two key

8、sentence patterns every day.(1 minute【设计说明】充分利用师生问候的时间,除了像往常一样打招呼外,我增加了一个口号“I want to struggle! I want to succeed!(我要拼搏,我要成功”,师生一起自信地大声地喊出我们的口号,目的是最大程度地激发学生学习英语的动力和兴趣,树立起学好英语必胜的信念;同时我们备课组5个英语老师坚持每天和学生一起背诵两个经典句型,材料来源于高三的名师领航一书,我们从上个学期就开始了,上个学期我们推广了李阳疯狂英语中“大思密码”记忆方法,总共有一百个漂亮的英语句子,本学期完成179个经典句型,目的帮助学生积

9、累写作素材,提高写作能力,实践证明效果比较明显,学生在写作中能活学活用,达到了我们预期的目的。Step 2 Lead-in(4 minutes1. Lets sing an English song together【设计说明】视听法是学生最感兴趣,也最能吸引学生注意力的教学手段之一。播放电影片断或英文原版歌曲能够激发学生的兴趣,从而调动他们学习的积极性。所以本堂课我选用了“2008北京奥运会闭幕式伦敦8分钟”的片段。此歌曲节奏感强,旋律优美,而且该片段主题贴近课文主题。通过师生一起唱歌,不仅使课堂充满轻松和愉悦的气氛,而且有助于集中学生的注意力,使其自然地进入主题学习。2. Brainsto

10、rming: What should we take into account before we decide to travel or study abroad?Get the Ss to brainstorm as much information on travelling and studying abroad as possible.【设计说明】接着运用“头脑风暴”进一步营造宽松和活跃的课堂气氛,充分调动学生的学习积极性,激活学生的思维,培养他们的发散思维能力。四人小组讨论将答案尽可能多地写在纸条上,然后交流汇报,实现资源共享,同时自然过渡到下一个内容。Step 3 Pre-rea

Watch a short video about a Chinese student studying in a foreign country.【设计说明】通过前面的引入,在激活学生原有的知识的基础上,欣赏一小段电影片断,将学生置身于电影情节中,使学生有一种身临其境的感觉,为下面的讨论做好了铺垫。2.What are advantages and disadvantages of studying in a foreign country?( Group work Group 1 and 2 discuss advantages.Group 3 and

12、4 discuss disadvantages.【设计说明】欣赏了一小段电影片断后,学生们应该都会有一种身临其境的感觉,老师提出问题:如果你是这个在国外学习的学生,你认为会学到什么,同时会遇到什么困难?通过分组两人讨论的形式进行,第一组和第二组讨论在国外学习的优点,第三组和第四组讨论在国外学习的缺点,然后交流及老师给出可能的答案。通过分组两人讨论的方式谈论在国外学习的利与弊,进一步激发同学们的学习兴趣。为理解课文做好铺垫。3. Get familiar with the new words.【设计说明】由于第一个课时已对本单元的词汇进行了单词拓展并做了大量的词汇练习,学生利用早读的时间也认真去

13、读和记过单词,所以在阅读课文前通过大声齐读的方式再熟悉阅读中的生词,尽量帮助学生扫清影响其在阅读理解的生词,以使学生在阅读过程中能够顺利捕捉信息。Step 4 While-reading(12 minutes 1. 14、lks about the Chinese student Xie Leis _ _ _ _, while studying in London. 【设计说明】让学生通过skimming了解文章各段及整个文章的大意。任务1旨在培养学生快速阅读完文章后迅速匹配各段大意的能力,同时使学生注意各段的第一句或每段的关键词,以帮助学生快速匹配各段大意,此设计与高考题信息匹配接近。任务2要求学生用大约三十个词来概括全文大意或填关键词的方式,考虑到不同层次的学生,概括能力强的学生可以用自己的话来概括,基础差一点的学生通过模仿填关键词的方式慢慢地掌握归纳概括的能力。任务2按照高考题任务型写作的归纳部分来设计,

15、通过平时阅读教学注重培养学生的概括能力,与高考接轨。2.Detailed-reading( Group work :Please read the passage carefully. 16、ties of studying abroad?(注:task3,task4两个阅读任务我会以表格的形式完成Task 5: Answer the following questions.Task 6:True or False statement.【设计说明】由于文章比较长,相关的信息比较多,在细节阅读环节,我通过给不同组不同任务的方式,然后交流互对答案的形式开展。第一组完成the benefits of studying abroad的表格; 第二组完成the difficulties of study abroad的表格;第三组完成两个选择题和一个问答题,第四组完成五个正误判断题。目的让学

17、生在短时间内快速捕捉和了解文章的关键信息。Step 5 Summary( 5 minutesTask 7 Fill in the blanks according to the text. 【设计说明】按照“总分总”的阅读思路,在这里设计一个根据课文内容填空的题型,目的进一步理解课文,进一步抓住文章的大意,并且进一步提高学生运用文章中的关键词根据上下文去填空,旨在培养学生高考语法填空题解题的能力。Task 8 Retell the text using the key words.Xie Lei 1_ a plane for London six months ago to complete

21、all the best, enterprises, etc.【设计说明】因为本文就是选自报纸,是一篇采访报道,并且记者用直接引语的形式,目的让学生感受到谢蕾被采访的真实过程。在这里设计一个“一分钟采访”,让学生运用本文的关键词语编一个采访对话,目的培养学生将所学到语言灵活用于实际情景中,即语言实际运用的能力,鼓励他们积极思维,大胆表现和敢于将自己的看法用较为得体的语言表述出来。Step 7 Assignment of homework ( 1 minute 1 Suppose you are Xie Lei. Please write a paragraph beginning with W

22、hen I came to England for the first time, it was hard for me to get used to .2 Read the text at least twice and find out the language points.【设计说明】通过读的输入,可以充分激活学生说和写的输出,由课堂延伸到课外,设置任务:要求学生写一篇任务型写作,按照高考要求设计,注重培养学生的写作能力。另外要求学生再读课文,主动找出语言点,自己通过现有的资料,工具书去弄明白,如有不明白的地方,课堂通过讨论的方式加以解决。重在培养学生自主学习语言点的能力。(三)初次实

23、践的教学效果本节课我采用任务型教学法来设计这一节课,整节课我运用“总-分-总”的阅读思路以及分组讨论的形式,通过文章阅读的训练和多样的练习设计,学生基本掌握阅读微技能(寻找文章的大意,略读,扫读,找读,跳读,预测,理解大意信息等),提高学生“读”的能力通过不同的形式题目让学生动手动笔,提高学生的动手“写”的能力。喊口号,唱英文歌,分组讨论和分钟采访,使学生将所学到语言灵活用于实际情景中,提高学生“说”的能力。本节课基本上实现了教学目标。(四)反思,引发新的教学决定 经过第一轮的教学实践后,高二备课组的老师通过观摩、分析,讨论提出了几点意见:认为这一节课引入部分达到预期效果。但本节课仍存在有不足

24、之处:1、单词呈现可以省略;2、分组讨论可以进一步改进,以避免以偏概全;3、教学容量大,可适当删减内容。四、第二次教学实践(一). 第二轮教学设计1.教学设计说明:鉴于前面这一节课的不足之处,重新修改教案。主要修改之处如下:1) .减少前面的单词呈现这一部分部分,这样能多留出点时间处理本节课的教学重点,阅读理解。2) 适当降低阅读任务的难度,使基础较差的学生也能完成。3) 在“一分钟采访”活动中,应该给予学生更多的指引,充分发挥学生的积极性,更好的理解课文。2.根据第一次教学实践后所做的修改,以下环节做了调整。Step 3 Pre-reading1.Watch a short video ab

What are advantages and disadvantages of studying in a foreign country?( Group work 说明:在读前这一环节中,保留视频观看和小组讨论这一环节。删减单词呈现这一部分,因为在前一节课中,学生已经对课文重点单词进行了系统的学习,对单词有了一定的熟悉和掌握。Step 4 While-reading(12 minutes 1. 27、k 5; Group 4 should finish task 6.说明:这是本节课的重点,通过完成多个阅读任务使学生能够更好的理解课文。但是阅读设置的难度偏大。在这一环节中,保留原有的阅读任务,但是会适当减低难度。如:Task 2: Summarize the main idea of the whole passage. (Use about 30 words to describe it.It mainly talks about the Chinese student Xie Leis _ _ _ _, especially about some _ she gets as well

30、_with reasons.1. finding a _ between study and a social life.2. making new _.(二)教学效果对比:在第二轮教学中,各个教学环节的链接更加紧凑,对于本课的教学重难点的处理更加合理。适当的降低了阅读任务的难度,使得学生更好理解课文,把握课文的重点。(三). 第二次实践的教学效果在第二次教学实践中,删减单词呈现这一环节,学生有更充分的时间阅读课文。阅读任务难度的降低,分组活动的形式使得学生更好的理解文章。小组讨论和“一分钟采访”不仅使学生口头能力得到锻炼,而且能进一步了解国外留学。概括全文大意和完成文章Summary,让学生

31、得到了笔头锻炼,有机结合读说写,使得学生更好的理解了阅读文章。(四). 反思、引发第三次的教学决定在第二次教学时,在教学语言和教态方面都有明显进步。教学各个环节时间掌控恰当,新颖有趣的内容调动了全体学生的积极性。学生能积极的参与讨论中,完成阅读任务的情况良好,所有的教学还是很成功的,但是教学容量仍然稍多,可以适当的删减阅读理解任务。同时,在“一分钟采访”活动中,从学生做的对话能够发现,学生都是千篇一律,给出的原因没有新颖之处,且基础较差的学生还是做不出来,没有话可说。以上提到的这些不足之处要在第三次教学实践中改进。五、第三次教学实践(一). 第三次教学设计1.教学设计说明:保留第一、二次教学实

32、践中做得比较好的地方,改进第二次教学中不足之处,重新修改教案。主要修改之处如下:1).针对教学容量仍然稍大的问题,在第三次教学实践中,我会适当删减些重复阅读理解任务。2).在“一分钟采访”活动中,针对学生无话可说,答案千篇一律的问题,在第三次教学中,我会给学生多点提示和指引,让基础好的学生带动基础差的学生。通过这一活动让学生有话可说,更好的理解课文。2.根据第二次教学实践后所做的修改,以下环节做了调整。Step 4 While-reading(12 minutes 1. All the best!说明:在给出“sample dialogue”的基础上,教师应该给出更多的提示,给出更多的采访话题,如:Why have you decided to live with a local family?有助于学生更好的掌握本单元的重点单词和短语,对国外留学有更深刻的认识,进而掌握理解课文。3教学效果对比:在第三次教学实践中,删减了部分细节阅读重复

38、的阅读任务,各个教学环节的处理更加合理。 “一分钟采访”活动,在教室的积极引导下,学生能够积极参与,有话可说。4. 第三次次实践的教学效果经过了前两次的教学和改进,在第三次教学实践中,在教师积极指导下,学生能够积极的参与课堂活动中,无论是说,读,写,学生都积极参加。经过头脑风暴和“一分钟采访”活动,学生能够写出和说出旅游和国外留学。通过快速阅读和细节阅读,学生能够全面的理解课文。六、总结本次课例研究经过高二年级全体英语老师的深入讨论,仔细分析,集中了各位老师的意见,进行了多重集体备课,进行三次教学实践并观摩、分析、反思、讨论、修改方案、总结。三轮的教学实践终于结束了,这真是一次难得的经历. 从

39、一开始的独立备课到后来每一次上完课后整个备课组的研讨会议,再到之后的修改教学设计和教案,其中的每个步骤我都全身心得投入和参与了。我从中学到了很多东西,受益最多的恐怕就是如何在教学实践过后及时得反思自己本节课的成功和欠缺之处,更重要的是如何修改以使这节课变得更好。通过这种理论到实践,再到理论的不断循环的方法,我们会更快更好得发展和成熟起来。希望以后还有更多这样的机会来锻炼一下。 附学生堂上练习:Unit 5 ReadingTask 1: Skim the text fast and match the main idea to each paragraph.Para.1_ Para.2_ Par
