2、, ABRASIVE AND CORROSIVE MATERIALS. COVER ROUGH WOOD OR CONCRETE SURFACES WITH TARPAULIN OR CLEAN, HEAVY PAPER. ALLOW AT LEAST 14 ft x 14 ft (APPROXIMATELY 4.3 m x 4.3 m) FLOOR AREA FOR PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL TESTING.确保测试区域干净平整,没有尖利物品、摩擦或腐蚀性材料。用防水布或厚纸板覆盖住粗糙的木地板或水泥地面。测试区域至少为14英尺X14英尺(约4.3 米 x 4.3 米)Se

3、cure the following: stopwatch, leak detector solution, and spray bottle (or similar) for dispensing solution (refer to FIG 101). 6、o inflate both floatation tubes to a minimum of 1.5 psig (0.102 Atm.) at a corrected temperature of 70 F (21.1 C) and at a corrected barometric pressure of 29.9 in.Hg (76.0 cm.Hg). Longer inflation time and/or low tube pressure may indicate leaks and/or malfunction in the inflation system.正常的充气系统在70

10、 Inflation System - Functional Test(inflation Systems P/N R0032-77 and -2023)CO2充气系统功能测试(P/N R0032-77/-2023)测试号测试内容工作者检验者ATest Setup测试建立Secure a cylinder vise, ear plugs and eye protection (refer to FIG 101). 11、UNLESS NECESSARY, DO NOT PERFORM A FUNCTIONAL TEST ON OPERATION OF CO2 INFLATION SYSTEM WHILE SYSTEM IS ATTACHED TO RAFT. REPEATED DEPLOYMENT, ESPECIALLY WHEN RAFT IS NOT IN WATER, MAY CAUSE PREMATURE DETERIORATION TO RAFT FABRIC IN THE VICINITY OF CO2 ENTRY PORT. THIS PROBLEM IS HOWEVER NOT OBSERVE

12、D IN RAFTS EQUIPPED WITH AN AIR-ASPIRATED INFLATION SYSTEM.除非必要,否则CO2充气系统和船体相连时,不能进行CO2充气系统功能测试。重复性展开,尤其船体不再水中时,易导致CO2进气口处的织布过早老化。(1)Disable lanyard activated inflation System, unpack raft, unfold, then remove two (2) valve/cylinder assemblies (refer to Disassembly).断开系索释放系统,打开包装,展开,拆下两个活门/气瓶组件(参见Di

13、sassembly)警告WARNING: CYLINDER CONTENTS ARE UNDER PRESSURE AND VALVE IS ARMED. WHEN REMOVED, ENSURE THAT SAFETY DIFFUSER (IPL FIG 7-100 OR 8-45, AS APPLICABLE) IS SECURELY ATTACHED TO VALVE OUTPUT FITTING. THE DIFFUSER MUST REMAIN ATTACHED IN LOCATION UNTIL CYLINDER/VALVE ASSEMBLY IS RE-ATTACHED TO R

16、urself and other personnel in the test area behind suitable protective cover and away from the test object.测试人员应远离待测部件(6)Use a sweeping hard pull on the cord attached to valve pull cable to trigger valve operation. Refer to Cleaning chapter of this manual for proc

22、edures.涂抹泄漏测试溶液前先清洁管道,参见Cleaning章节。(2)Secure the following: low pressure oil-free shop compressed air, pump adapter and insert (as required), manometer, a watch for time keeping, thermometer, barometer, and a calculator (refer to FIG 101). 26、, DO NOT PERFORM A FUNCTIONAL TEST ON INFLATION SYSTEM OPERATION IN RAFTS EQUIPPED WITH CO2 INFLATION SYSTEM (P/N R0032-77 OR -2023) WHILE INFLATION SYSTEM IS ATTACHED TO RAFT REPEATED DEPLOYMENT, ESPEC1ALLYWHEN RAFT IS NOT IN WATER, MAY CAUSE PREMATURE DETERIORATION TO RAFT FABRIC IN THE VICINITY O

27、F CO2 ENTRY PORT. THIS PROBLEM IS HOWEVER NOT OBSERVED IN RAFTS EQUIPPED WITH AN AIR-ASP1RATED INFLATION SYSTEM (P/N R0032-17).INFLATE RAFTS EQUIPPED WITH CO2, INFLATION SYSTEM BY INTRODUCING COMPRESSED AIR THROUGH MANUAL INFLATION VALVES.除非必要,否则CO2充气系统和船体相连时,不能进行CO2充气系统功能测试。重复性展开,尤其船体不再水中时,易导致CO2进气

28、口处的织布过早老化。在装有空气引射充气系统的救生船上没有发现此类情况。CO2充气系统通过人工充气活门引气来给救生船充气。1Disable lanyard activated inflation System, unpack raft from carrying case, and unfold (refer to Disassembly).断开系索触发充气系统,打开包装并展开。告知NOTE: Removal of inflation System is recommended to avoid inadvertent activation.推荐拆下充气系统,以免意外触发2Inflate low

30、psig (0.136 Bar).调节上、下管道的压力为2.0 psig (0.136 Bar)(3)Inflate two (2) center floats to design shape and adjust pressure of each float to 1.0 psig (0.068 Bar).给两个中央甲板充气,调节压力为1.0 psig (0.068 Bar)(4)Allow raft to stabilize for one (1) hour.救生船静置1小时(5)Check pressure in lower floatation tube, upper floatati

31、on tube and two (2) center floats. If different from respective values in (2) and (3) above, adjust byintroducing shop compressed air.检查上、下管道和两个中央甲板的压力,若与以上步骤(2)和(3)中有差别,用压缩空气调整。(6)Record time, and ambient temperature T1 in F units (or C).记录时间,外界温度T1(单位F或C)。实测值: (7)Record barometric pressure P1amb i

You will need them to perform this test.准备好以下物品:泄漏测

Apply slowly to minimize the amount of bubbles generated.缓慢地将泄漏测试溶液喷涂在活门上,防止产生气泡。(2)While monitoring pressure, pressurize valve to 2.0 psig (0.136 Atm.) and continue increasing pressure.将活门

45、加压到2.0 psig (0.136 Atm)然后继续增压。告知NOTE: Pressurization of floatation tube may be performed by introducing shop compressed air through manual inflation valve (see Description and Operation, Section 2.B). Pressure readings may be obtained from the same or other manual inflation valve located on the same

If using

Replace complete valve assembly if it does not pass inspection.所有压力释放活门P/N 510-08都附有内部密封的活门罩。若活门不能通过测试,则整个更换。11Manual Inflation Valve - Functional Test人工充气活门-功能测试EAM-T6A life rafts are equipped with two types of manual inflatio

50、n valve, as illustrated in FIG 3. The procedure for functional testing of both valve types is the same.EAM-T6A救生船装配有2种类型的人工充气活门,参见图3。两类活门的功能测试步骤一样。ATest Setup测试建立The following equipment items are needed to perform this test: a manometer, leak detector solution, and spray bottle or other apparatus fo
