minimum requirements for Marine Loading Arms for use in liquid ammonia and molten sulfur service including design manufacture assembly control shop tests site tests and performances to be installed in the MARITIME TERMINAL OF MORON PETROCHEMICAL COMPLEX The requirements for quick connect disconnect couplers QCDC powered emergency release coupling PERC and loading arm control power systems are also covered In addition to the description in this specification relating data sheets drawings specifications codes and standards shall be referred to conduct the design It should be noted that this specification is not intended to preclude the use of new materials designs or techniques which can be demonstrated to be suitable for the intended service This specification is a contractual document between PURCHASER and SELLER It defines the equipment and services included in the SELLER scope of supply This specification is derived from OCIMF Oil Companies International Marine Forum Design however no dye penetrant inspection is required for root pass of circular welds of pipes on finished welds tightness welds and all pressure containing welds subject to low temperature in order to check the absence of linear indications in compliance with ASME VIII 7 2 4Magnetic particle inspection of carbon steel welds On all lifting component attachments casting welds 7 2 5Visual inspection which are not prejudicial to the use and which affect metal homogeneity or thickness shall be sounded to detect their importance Any superficial defect which after sounding would be proven to have a depth of more than 8 of the thickness shall be repaired Defects of lower importance may be repaired by grinding 7 37 3 SHOPSHOP TESTSTESTS 7 3 1Pressure testing All Marine Arms shall be completely assembled and hydrostatically tested to at least 1 5 x design pressure The pressure test shall be maintained for a sufficient time to determine if there are any leaks but not less than 30 minutes Testing shall take place with the Marine Arm fully assembled and placed in the hydrostatic test position During hydrostatic testing the Marine Arm shall be restrained to reduce any stress from external sources The hydrostatic test will be performed in order to confirm that there is no deformation and no damage or leakage from welded area and flange connections Above test shall be carried out in SELLER s workshop prior to painting Marine Arms shall be dismantled and thoroughly dried after hydrostatic testing Marine Arms to be drained filled with nitrogen and sealed ready for shipment Pneumatic testing shall not be used without the consent of PURCHASER 7 3 2Working range and clearance check When specified in the data sheets one or more Marine Arms shall be erected at the SELLER s workshop in order to verify the parameters and operations according to the design data 7 3 3Swivel testing If required in the data sheets swivel s sheet shall be proof tested at the SELLER s workshop by subjecting the swivel to a swivel test load PCT defined by OCIMF paragraph 12 5 5 without causing permanent deformation to any part of the swivel 精品文档 25欢迎下载25欢迎下载 The swivel shall meet the requirements laid down in section 6 3 and the requirements of OCIMF The maximum acceptable leakage rate for each stage shall be specified 7 3 4Quick connect disconnect cargo coupler testing As required quick connect disconnect cargo couplers QCDC shall be tested for leakage and load capacity When testing is required the test shall demonstrate the QCDC s ability to disengage from the Ships manifold when unbalanced loads are present When testing is required the QCDC shall be tested for accidental release of its grippers due to hydraulic leakage and loss of hydraulic and or electrical power The QCDC shall be strength tested under following conditions a combination of axial load bending moment and shear as per paragraph 12 7 3 and 12 7 4 of OCIMF Design and Construction Specification for Marine Loading Arms internal pressure of 19 kg cm2 or the specified design pressure whichever is higher test loads will be increased stepwise as specified by PURCHASER Above conditions shall be maintained for a sufficient time to determine if there are any leaks but not less than 5 minutes Neither liquid leakage nor permanent deformation in any part shall occur PURCHASER may specify particular requirements concerning test spool material and dimensional requirements 7 3 5Emergency release coupling testing The powered emergency release coupling s PERC shall be proof specification Design Construction Specification for Marine Loading Arms The PERC shall be strength tested under the following conditions an internal pressure of 19 kg cm2 or the specified design pressure see the data sheet whichever is higher when testing of PERC in cryogenic application is specified in the data sheet the coupling shall be tested for leakage and load capacity under ambient and minimum cargo temperature The emergency release coupling shall be tested for accidental release due to hydraulic leakage and loss of hydraulic and or electric power Above tests shall be witnessed by PURCHASER or his representative 7 47 4 SITESITE TESTSTESTS 7 4 1Pressure testing Prior to initial operation the fully assembled Marine Arm shall be pneumatically leak soap tested Either nitrogen or dry air shall be used The test pressure shall be 6 kg cm2 and shall be maintained for a sufficient time to determine if there are any leaks but not less than 30 minutes The pneumatic test shall be carried out to prove tightness of bolted connections gaskets and couplings only 7 4 2Working range and clearance check The SELLER shall after installation of the Marine Arms perform a check on all Marine Arms and on all combinations of loading Marine Arms specified to insure that they will reach all positions of the applicable Ship manifold envelope s at all specified Ship manifold spacing 7 57
