(2) Key vocabulary: rules,hallway,classroom,Mrs. fight, schoolRules.(3) Target language: Dont arrive late for class. We must be on time. Dont listen to music in the classroom.2. Ability Objects: Enable students to learn allow the school rules and improve students ability of listening and speaking.3. Moral Objects: Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards. We should learn the school rules and family rules and try our best to allow them.二、Teaching Key and Difficult Points:1.Master the sentence structure “ I have to” , “ I can /cant”2.Enable students to listen to and talk about some rules in some places.三、Teaching procedures:Step 1: Warming-up and Lead-inSing a song and find out school rules and family rules.T: Today we will learn a new lesson. Its about rules. Now at first , please listen to a song carefully, and later please try to sing this song together with me, OK? Ss: OK! Then let students listen to the song. T: Ill sing the black words and you should sing the red words. Lets have a try. After singing. T: You are so good at singing, well down!Step 2: Presentation:T: Ive found that you are good at singing, but are you good at learning? Are you good students?Ss: Yes, we are.T: Can we do the homework?Ss: Yes, we can.T: Can we sleep in class?Ss: No, we cant.T: Good! So I think you are good students. And do you want to learn some new words about the school rules?Ss: Yes, we do. The teacher teaches the new words: hallways, classroom, fight, dining hall, arrive.Show the pictures in 1a, make sure they can understand the meanings of the new words.Step 3: Play a game:Let students play a game. Students should allow the arrow and speak out the English words and phrases. Then check up the answers together. Step 4: Do a research:T: Now Ill do a research and ask some students a few questions. Ill ask “Can we?” and you should answer “Yes, we can. Or No, we cant.” Clear?Ss: Yes.T: Can we do homework in the classroom?S1: Yes, we can.T:Can we?S2:Step 5: Practice:1. Review the new words and phrases weve learnt just now. Let students try to use these knowledge freely. Such as: Dont be late for class. Use some pictures to help.2. lets match the activities with the pictures.3. Find some students to write the following school rules.Step 6: Listen and complete:1.Have students look through the picture in 1a and find out what rules the students are breaking.2.Listen to the tape and find out what rules Peter, Amy and Mike are breaking. Then check the answer.Step 7: Role-play : Students can look at the picture, and try to make their own conversations. Try to act out the conversation.S1: What are the rules?S2: We cant arrive late for class. S1:Can we run in the hallways? S2: No, we cant. Step 8: Exercises: Ask students to do some exercises about the key words, phrases, sentences and grammar in this period so that we can find out how much they have learned in this period.Step 9: Summary(listen and song):T: In this class, weve mainly known about the school rules by listening and speaking. Now please listen to the song “If you are happy”. And try to use the schools rules to change the song words, then sing the new song.Step 10: Homework Choose your favorite song and write down some pieces of your family rules.
