A special place for special people. special people 后文中还有一句Special for new friends. 2. Would you like something to drink? 3. Id like a glass of ginger ale with ice. 另外也可以讲Ill have.(我要)或者Do you have.?(有吗?)ginger ale姜味汽水,是一种用姜汁制成的不含酒精的饮料。4. How about a California chablis? 5. What would you like to eat? 6. May I bring you a salad?May I bring you.(要不要来点呢?) 7. What do you recommend? 8. Why not? Susan: I hope youre hungry.Harry: What? Oh, yes. Starving.Well, I.Susan: at the same time Well, I.Harry: What do you do at Universe Toy Company?Susan: Im the vice-president of new toy development.Harry: Terrific!Susan: I know youre a CPA.Harry: Thats true. How old is she?Harry: Shes nine years old.Susan: Thats a nice age. Whats her name?Harry: Michelle.Susan: Do you have a picture of her?Susan: Shes very pretty. Well, I.Well在这里是个语气词。 Im the vice-president of new toy development. 4. And so. Here we are. Somsak: Rose-petal salad. And theres a phone call for you, Mr. Bennett.Harry: Excuse me, Susan.Susan: I hope nothing is wrong.Somsak: Ill get the rest of the dinner. Excuse me.Harry: Please forgive me, Susan, but.I have to leave. I feel terrible, but.Susan: Whats the matter?Harry: My daughter isnt feeling well.Susan: Oh no! Is it serious?Harry: I dont know. The baby-sitter says she has a stomachache, and shes crying. Ill have to go home. Will you forgive me?Susan: Of course. Im so sorry for Michelle. And you didnt have a chance to eat.Harry: Oh, its OK. Let me take you home first.Susan: No, no. Please, go ahead.Harry: Its our first date.Susan: Well make another. Please dont worry.Harry: Ill phone you.Susan: I hope your daughter is all right. Good-bye. 1. Theres a phone call for you. 2. Please forgive me, Susan, but.I have to leave. I feel terrible, but. 以及I feel terrible, but.(我感到十分抱歉,但是.) 3. Ill have to go home. Will you forgive me? Will you excuse me?4. Whats the matter? 5. Oh, its OK. Oh, its all right. 6. Please, g
