( i i i ) 随着知识和年级的增长，中学生的英语加工水平达到了较高的自动化程 度，那么英语句法意识的两个维度对英语阅读理解的预测作用是否随年级增长有所 变化? 第二章主要报告了本研究的实验设计和结果。9 6 名来自莆田第二十八中学的学 生构成本研究的被试，其中初二年级学生4 9 名，高二年级学生4 7 名，男女生比率 基本匹配。测验包括计算机辅助测试和纸笔测试。实验分为三个部分，采用单独施 测和集体施测相结合的形式。第一部分为快速句法判断测试，第二部分为有意识的 句法判断测试，第三部分为阅读理解测试。实验采集的数据使用s p s s1 6 0 进行分 析，结果表明，中学生汉英句法意识的发展呈现跨语言的一致性。不同维度的句法 意识在阅读发展的不同阶段对阅读能力的预测作用是不同的，其中汉语内隐句法知 识是预测两个年级学生汉语阅读能力的最好指标；而英语高级句法意识是预测两个 年级学生英语阅读能力的最好指标。随着年级的升高，英语高级句法意识对英语阅 读能力的预测作用逐渐增强，而英语内隐句法知识对英语阅读能力的预测作用逐渐 v t 福建师范大学硕士学位论文 减弱。 第三章分析和讨论了实验的结果，并对其做出理论解释，最后得出结论。本研 究的结论与我们的预期相符，让我们对句法意识在阅读发展中的作用有了新的了解。 我们发现：第一，尽管中学生汉英句法知识的习得过程存在差异，但他们的汉英句 法意识的发展呈现跨语言的一致性。第二，不同维度的句法意识对阅读能力的预测 作用是不同的。汉语内隐句法知识是中学生汉语阅读能力发展的最好指标，而英语 高级句法意识则能最好地预测中学生英语阅读能力。第三，随着年级的升高，英语 高级句法意识对英语阅读能力的预测作用逐渐增强，相反，英语内隐句法知识对英 语阅读能力的预测作用逐渐减弱。本章还阐明了本研究对中学英语句法教学的启示， 在我国目前的外语教学条件下，英语句法知识往往是通过外显的方式习得的，只有 不断的练习才能提高句法提取的熟练程度和自动化程度，促使英语句法知识向意识 层面转化，以及低级句法意识向高级句法意识转化。而句法提取自动化程度的提高 可以让读者利用更多的认知资源，关注阅读理解其他层次的信息处理，从而提高阅 读的成绩。 v i 1 2i
