西南交通大学硕士研究生学位论文 第1 页 摘要 对于外语学习者来说，阅读是一项非常重要的能力。国内外几乎所有 的大型考试，如c e t 4 、c e t 6 、t o e f l 和g r e 等都对这- - “h r 。力进行考查， 而且阅读所占比重都比较大。但大多数阅读试题只采用多项选择题这种题 型，许多研究人员认为这种题型效度不高。有些专家( f r e d e r i k s e n1 9 8 4 ， s a m s o n1 9 8 3 。b r a c h t & h o p k i n s1 9 7 0 等) 认为，当测试同一种能力时，不 同的题型不会影响测试结果或影响很小；持相反观点的专家( w o o d1 9 9 3 ， c o o p e r1 9 8 4 等) 认为，不同的题型适合测试不同的能力或同一能力的不同 方面。该问题值得进一步探讨与研究，以期为语言测试与教学提供一些有 益的启示。目前国内外开展的实证性研究还不多，因此，作为一项实证性 研究，本文旨在调查阅读题型与阅读能力之间的关系。 本文根据a l d c r s o n 的效度检验程序对多项选择、填空和问答三种阅读 题型的效度进行了全面的检验，共提出四个研究问题：1 哪种题型的效度 更高? 2 学生的阅读成绩受题型的影响吗? 3 阅读能力高的学生与能力 低的学生的阅读成绩均受题型的影响吗? 4 三种阅读题型各适合测试何 种阅读能力? 为回答上述四个问题共收集了三种数据：效度、阅读测试分 数、阅读能力分数。本文对2 3 7 名中国大学生进行了阅读测试和阅读效度 问卷调查，此夕 还收集了他们英语期末考试的阅读成绩、三次测验的阅读 成绩及教师对其阅读表现的评分。分析数据时采用了描述性统计、单因素 方差分析、双因素方差分析、p e a r s o n 相关检验等方法。 研究结果表明，问答题的表面效度和反应效度最高：填空题的预测效 度与同期效度最高；考生的阅读成绩确实受到了题型的影响，尤其是阅读 能力低的学生；在测试对词汇和短语的理解能力时，填空题与问答题( 尤 其是后者) 的效度更高；在测试对事实和细节的理解能力时，填空题的效 度最高；但还不清楚哪种题型在测试对文章主旨大意的理解方面效度更高。 最后，本文为今后的研究和语言教学与测试提出了几点建议：阅读测 试的目的和所测能力不同，应采用不同的题型：语言教师在小型测试时应 采用尽可能多的题型来测试阅读能力；在做类似的研究时，还可以对阅读 能力进一步细分或采用其他的分类方法；最后，题型研究还可以拓展到语 言测试的其他领域，如听、说、写等方面的能力。 关键词多项选择；填空；问答；阅读能力；效度 西南交通大学硕士研究生学位论文第| i 页 a b
