I have a pen palPEP小学英语Book 7 Unit4 Part B Lets talk教学设计柯桥区钱清镇中心小学 魏燕青1 教材与学情分析 本课教材是新版人教PEP六上年级第四单元的第三课时对话课。Pen pal 这个话题对于六年级的孩子是一个全新的话题,尚未系统接触过。本课时是单元的第三课时,学生已经接触过前两课的对话课和单词课,对pen pal 有了一定了解,并且有了一定爱好的词汇量。2 教学目标知识与能力目标 1、学生能够读懂Lets try题目要求。通过完成听力题目能对即将发生的故事进行预测。能运用基本听力技巧完成主旨题和细节题。2、学生能够理解对话大意;能够用正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话;能够在情境中运用句型:Does he ?Yes,he does . No ,he doesnt .谈论他人信息。情感态度、文化意识、学习策略目标 1、学生能运用真实语境培养学生学习英语的兴趣。 2、学生能通过了解对方的兴趣爱好年龄等信息产生结交朋友的意愿。 3、学生能通过对话简单了解澳大利亚的首都堪培拉和著名城市悉尼。3 教学过程Step1:Warming-up1.Know something about me .课件出示教师的生活照T:Whos she ?Yes ,its me . Do you want to know something about me ? You can ask me . My name is Yoyo.I am 27 years old .I live in Keqiao . 学生猜测时,教师根据学生的猜测及自己的实际情况逐一回应。设计意图:通过欣赏教师自己有趣的照片,吸引了学生的注意力。学生自己提问教师的信息,充分激发了学生课堂学习的兴趣,营造了轻松欢快的课堂。2.Play a game : do word puzzles . T:I have many hobbies .Do you want to know my hobbies ? Lets play a game first . 课件呈现三个谜语:I like running and jumping . (学生猜测后word puzzles 中显示正确单词 sports )I go to the clothes shop every weekend .(学生猜测后显示正确单词 sports )I like chatting with people . (学生猜测后显示正确单词 making friends )T:So my hobbies are shopping ,doing sports and making friends . Do you like this game ?The name of the game is word puzzles . In western countries ,children like doing word puzzles very much .(见图1) 图1设计意图:通过猜字谜了解教师爱好的方式,巧妙地让学生体验了游戏过程,也适当得进行了文化渗透。2.Know something about the students . T: So ,thats something about me . Now tell me something about you . Ss:My name is . I am years old . I live in . I like (教师根据学生的自我介绍逐一回应。)T: Ok ,lets make friends . Nice to meet you .设计意图:通过学生的自我介绍,帮助学生复习hobbies .也在无形中渗透了本课中要提炼的三个信息点:Name ,living place和hobbies。Step 2: Presentation and practice1. Lets try . (1) 帮助学生理解Lets try情境。 T: I like making friends . Do you like making friends ?Miss whites class like making friends too . And they like more friends on the internet . That is making pen pals . Look !This is a pen pal website . Lets read the website together “www. ”Today there is a boy on it . Listen !School is over ,Miss white is talking to Wu Yifan about the pen pal . Lets listen and circle .(见图2)(2) listen and circle . 1.Where does the pen pal come from ?A:America B: Australia 2.How old is the pen pal? A:He is 11 years old . B:He is 12 years old .(第一遍听回答第一个问题,第二遍听回答第二个问题) 图2 设计意图:通过Miss White 和Wu Yi fan的聊天听力,让学生感知了本课时的新句型,获得了Lets talk 板块的人物以及场景的信息。为新课学习做好了铺垫。 2.Know something about AUS.T:So now we know the pen pal is 11 years old . And he is from Australia .(教师板书11,AUS)Do you know something about Australia ? About the animals ,the cities and the weather .(教师提供支架:_ is in Australia .)Ss:Sydney is in Australia .Ss:Kangaroo is in Australia .T:Now lets enjoy a movie about Australia . 设计意图:通过学生自己表达对澳大利亚的了解,到欣赏澳大利亚短片。对澳大利亚的动物和两个著名城市悉尼和堪培拉有了一定的了解,并且产生一定的喜爱之情。为更好的解读文本打下了基础。Step3:Text-learning 1.欣赏笔友照片,教学句型Does he like .? Does he live in .?学生根据照片运用句型进行提问与猜测。(见图3)T: Do you like Australia ? Wu Yi fan likes Australia ,too . So he wants to make friends with the pen pal . Look now he is enjoying some pictures of him on the pen pal website . Look whos coming ?Yes ,John is coming . They are enjoying together. Lets enjoy with them together .Ok?If you are John,what questions do you want to ask Wu Yifan.提问一:Ss :Whats his name ?T:A good question .Maybe John wants to know his name(教师板书Name )提问二:Ss:What are his hobbies ? (教师板书hobbies )T: If you are John ,can you guess the hobbies from these pictures ?You can Guess like this :Does he like .?(教师板书句型)提问三:Ss:Where does he live ?(教师板书Living place ) T:If you are John ,can you guess the living place from these pictures ?You can Guess like this :Does he live in .? (教师板书句型) 图3 设计意图:通过照片欣赏、角色体验,使学生入情入境,学生带着好奇心和自己提出的问题进入文本,学习文本更有效率性和目标性。 2.解读lets talk 内容。(1)观看无文字的动画回答问题:Whats his name ? T: His name is John .What about our friend ? His name is John ,too . They have the same name .(板书John)(2)观看有文字的动画回答问题:Where does he live ?(3)观看有文字的动画,完成Listen and tick. 并且同桌进行操练。教学答句: Yes, he does .No,he doesnt .(见图4) T:John likes doing word puzzles and going hiking . 图4 (4)通过听课文最后五组对话,回答我们的朋友John 的爱好。(见图5) 图5 T:He likes doing word puzzles and going hiking ,too . They have the same hobbies . (5)教学amazing. T: Wow they have the same hobbies and age . That s amazing .(见图6) 图6 设计意图:本环节中多次让学生听读课文,呈现前设置问题,有助于培养学生专注地听和获取信息的能力,对两个John 的爱好和单词amazing的处理也比较细腻,让学生充分理解教材,解读教材。 3.跟录音读课文(1)随读。(2)跟读,指导学生停顿和升降调的朗读。(见图7) 图7设计意图:跟读录音有利于习得地道的语音语调。在朗读指导上不仅对停顿和升降调进行处理,又帮助学生按正确的意群朗读,学生们都能带着真实的感受去朗读课文。 4.挑战分角色朗读,表演。 按星组标准,遮住句子,一颗星和两颗星分别让一二大组和三四大组进行分角色朗读,三颗星,请学生二人一组尝试朗读表演。表扬敢于挑战、朗读流利的学生。(见图8) 图8 设计意图: 用星级挑战方式能激发学生的学习积极性,在课堂上利用语言框架尝试朗读,有效地在课堂上帮助学生记忆课文有效地帮助学生在理解课文的基础上去记忆课文内容。 5.课外延伸提问(1)Do you also want to make friends with the pen pal from Australia ?Discuss.(2)We like making friends with those who have the same hobbies and age with you . Or maybe your friends live in a nice place. And more.What kind of friends do you want to make ?Discuss.(见图9) 图9设计意图: 两个提问对文本有了很好的总结和拓展,帮助学生形成正确的交友观。Step 4: Consolidation1. Lets make new QQ friends in four .教师示范 A: Excuse me ,is this your friend ? B: Yes . A:Whats his/her name ? B: His/Her name is. A:Does he/she like ? B: Yes, he /she does ./No. A:Great.Can I be his new QQ friend ? Whats his QQ number . /Sorry,I dont like this friend .教师提供有用的句子。(见图10) 图102. Introduce your new QQ friend . 学生展示: I have a new QQ friends . He/She is XXXs friend. He/She is . He/she likes. Do you like my new QQ friend ? His /her QQ number is .设计意图:通过小组合作的形式,在语境中展开带有任务的对话。让学生选择自己喜欢的QQ好友进行对话,尊重学生的意愿,学生乐于参与,交流显得更加真实,真正发挥语用功能。Step 5 :Homework1.Listen to the tape and repeat.(听磁带,熟读课文)2. Write an email to your new QQ friend .(给QQ好友写一封邮件,也可以写给Yo yo哦。QQ number :632743
