The journey really offered us an unusual and breathtaking view of the world. We just soared effortlessly over high mountains and deep valleys and kept talking and exclaiming at the extraordinary sight of unbroken cloud plains that stretches for miles before us, while the sun shined brilliantly in the sky. But what excited us most was the food offered on the plane, and all kinds of beverage and ice cream. After all, we are still kids.“着陆了！着陆了！我们到香港喽！”我, 还有那几位不太“绅士”的男孩子们一起兴奋地大叫。从那一刻起，在香港的日子正式开始了！The Image of Hong Kong- Different香港印象与众不同Bustling Downtown (繁华的市中心)下飞机，坐地铁，去宾馆。初到香港，又不认识路，像被猫追的老鼠一样见到一条路就想走。可地铁站的出口那么多，毫无方向感地走着迷宫，一会儿就转晕了。终于看见太阳，却又被鳞次栉比的摩天大厦团团包围。This does give you a feel of the huge city. Wherever you look, its people, people, people. 路在何方？多亏了一位热心的lady, 带我们找到了去宾馆的路，也找到了家一般的感觉。Peaceful Victoria Harbor (宁静的维多利亚港)When we arrived, it was getting dark. We hurried along to the Victoria Harbor, and our ship leaves at exactly 7pm. Thank goodness, we got there on time.At the very first sight of the harbor, I was deeply impressed by it. Of course, Victoria Harbor is one of the most beautiful harbors in the world. The magnificent harbor, the dark but tranquil sea, the white bow waves, the mellifluous music, around it the skyscrapers with neon lights shining and the ship softly swaying, and I felt I was just like a baby in a cradle. Looking around, I lost into thought. I felt I have touched on something- the essence of this city. We all regard Hong Kong as a modern city, yes, but what is displaying in front of me now is the other side of it- bustling, prosperous but at the same time quiet and peaceful that we can hardly imagine a city like this. And Hong Kong really is an Oriental Sleepless City, mini New York.On the ship, Jeff and I met an old British couple and we had a nice talk. They first praised our accent, which I felt really surprised. They said that our British accent was cool and they were glad to meet someone who could speak like themselves. The lady told us that they were on a tour: they first went to San Francisco, then to New Zealand and stayed there for five weeks and they came to Hong Kong at last and intended to stay here for two days and they were going back to London the next day. The gentleman said that they also visited many beautiful places like Paris, Rome, Venice, etc. I was so astonished when I heard this and couldnt help admire them for their spirit. They were so energetic and dynamic just like young people. They liked changing and discovering new things, exploring new places. This even inspired me to study harder to become a great tourist like Marco Polo to travel around the world and explore the natural wonders.Joining the Venice Carnival;Touring around the city that never sleeps-New York;Taking photographs of Paris on the Eiffel Tower;Enjoying Da Vincis painting Mona Lisa in Louver Museum;Rubbing noses with Eskimos in the Polar North;Playing with kangaroos in AustraliaDaydreaming again, huh? Definitely no.Sweet Avenue of Stars (温馨的星光大道)Back to business. Pity that the second day when we had breakfast, it was almost twelve oclock, or perhaps more precisely, we had brunch. Actually we decided to visit Disneyland that day, but since we havent got enough time, obviously, judging from this, we just agreed to hang around the Avenue of Stars and go shopping, which is said to be one of the greatest pleasures in Hong Kong.Beyond the bustling downtown, with its shopping district and soaring hotels, lie the Avenue of Stars, the Victoria Park, some ancient churches and spacious parks and the list will go on.The Avenue of Stars is not just that common. Along the avenue are Christmas tree-like shelves, the leaves of the trees are cards with wishes which were written by people who came to visit the avenue. I also left my own best wishes, I wish all those who love me can be happy forever, and I hope next time I come to Hong Kong I can be not only a visitor.English is everywhere (英语无处不在)Anyway, everyone knows that Hong Kong is a modern metropolis with various kinds of commodities and entertainment, so I dont need to talk much about the stores and goods there. However, there is one thing that I cant help noticing is that maybe there isnt any Chinese words on the advertisements or names of the stores, but there must be English. From the famous big brands like Canon, Panasonic, Shangri-La and so forth, to the advice on public ads, like Wear a surgical mask while suffering a respiratory inspections, Wash your hands thoroughly after sneezing or coughing, from the subway warnings like No Drinking & Eating, Be aware of pickpockets. The safeguard can help you. to the hotel things like Bath Gel, Body Lotion, Shampoo, Shower Cap, Cotton Tip and so on, English is almost everywhere. And strangely enough, nearly all the staff in restaurants or cafes and hotels can speak English, say, Macdonalds, KFC or Starbucks. Most staff can speak three languages-they have mastered English and mandarin as well as Cantonese and are able to converse with different people. This does show that English, a universal language, really is useful. Clichd, yes, but I cant help saying that English, that thing that offered me the possibility to visit Hong Kong, that thing that made me be able to communicate with people from all over the world, that thing that led me into a whole new world, like magic.Queues, Order，Civilization (队列，秩序，文明)On the forth day we decided to go to the Ocean Park. As there were no subways to the park, our only way to get there is by crowded bus. As we went to buy our ticket, I saw that there were hundreds of people queuing to get onto the bus. Im not kidding, there really were that many. I thought this time Im really dead. Cant imagine how long it will take to get there. Nevertheless, to my surprise, everyone followed the queue, we soon got onto the bus and each and every one of us had a seat! I used to think so many people queuing in public places incredible, but in Hong Kong, wherever you go, people seem to be following the rules. There are queues everywhere, in cafeterias, bus stations, subway stations香港的地铁站和内陆很是不同，相对而言更humane, 因为整个站台前都是一扇门，车门打开的地方那扇门也会自动打开，地铁站的站台上有一道黄线，意思是不让人们越过，黄线前面有一个向外指的箭头在中央，两边还有几个向内的箭头，代表从那里上车。无论有多少人，都显得秩序井然。没有人越过黄线或是站在不应该站的地方，没有你推我搡、蜂拥而上的“壮观”场面。在地铁或是公车里，都会有两种标志：No Smoking 和No Eating & Drinking. 或许你以为，应该有人躲在角落或坐在最后一排偷偷吸烟、吃东西，那你就大错特错喽。所有的人都“傻傻”地遵守着那些“小小”的规定，维护着整座城市的秩序与文明。走在香港的大街上，看着忙忙碌碌、穿梭不停的人流，大陆人，香港人，美国人，韩国人，黄皮肤， 白皮肤，黑皮肤一切都显得那么和谐。也许这就是这所城市的魅力。香港所吸引人们的，不仅仅是它的繁华和机会，还有它的包容。不一样的语言，不一样的声音，东西方文化在这里交汇、融合，展现出与内地迥然不同的异域风情。感谢“新概念”，让我领略别样的文化，别样的风采！Thrilling Magical Journey to Wonderland新奇刺激的魔幻之旅Its really a big day! we screamed, we are going to Disneyland!迪士尼乐园，一个现代都市的蓝色童话，一个承载着快乐梦想的梦幻王国，诠释着童年魔幻般的梦想。坐上神奇的过山车，魔幻之旅正式开始啦！So many times Ive heard about Disneyland as a wonderland which has numerous good things to enjoy, but never, ever had the opportunity to visit it myself.Ah! Finally arrived after a long way, or perhaps my mind runs too fast that the subway cannot catch up with it. And when I saw the front gate, I just stood there unconsciously even without twinkling as if Ive been petrified. “Am I dreaming? Who will come and pinch me?” I felt that my head had been stirred like a bowl of porridge. It was soooooooooo beautiful! This place is the true definition of a theme park! The grand station of the Disneyland Railroad looms over the entrance: the adventure begins! Hooray! (Fortunately, we didnt have to kick ourselves for not remembering our cameras.)I was in total awe from the moment I walked into the park. The first part of it is the Main Street, USA. At the end of the street is the Sleeping Beauty Castle that lends you an authentically majestic fairy-tale feel at the very sight of it.From the small details like the figures painted on the railing to the big facilities, buildings and castles, all those things fascinated me so much. Especially when I was riding the Cinderella Carousel (灰姑娘旋转木马), for a moment or two, I have forgotten everything and thought that I was a princess.Another game that I must mention is Space Mountain (飞越太空山)- a classic interplanetary ride in Tomorrowland （明日世界）which is a star destination. Appealing name, huh? At first, I regarded as a kind of ordinary game, as I saw lots of people, some are kids younger than me entered that building, and we even laughed at the warning and thought it was exaggerating: Warning!
